Lira's Adventure in the Grave Danger Catacombs!

     “I am confident you will be okay, Lira. Sadly, Blue and I cannot join you as this catacomb only accepts Petpet. However, there is a chance of you getting something nice! I heard my friends saying they got nice items from Grave Danger!” StarrysAngel told her Petpet as they stood outside of Grave Danger.

     “But I am terrified! What if I get lost?!” Lira asked, hoping to get out of it.

     StarrysAngel hugged Lira. “You will be fine, I promise. I think you will most likely want to go again after you return!” she said, smiling to her. “I doubt you can get lost in the catacomb!” she added.

     Lira looked at StarrysAngel then Blue, her Bumbluz. “Well, okay. I do not have much of a choice and I have no idea how long I will be. Have you got the Mini Explorer Backpack?” she asked.

     “Yes, I made you a Mini Explorer Backpack which has food and water for you!” StarrysAngel said, handing the Mini Explorer Backpack to Lira. The Mini Explorer Backpack was a handmade item that StarrysAngel designed for her Petpet after noticing none existed in Neopia for Petpets.

     Lira sighed and put the Mini Explorer Backpack on. “Thank you, StarrysAngel. Well, I will see you when I return. Are you going be staying outside the whole time?” she asked.

     “Yes, Blue and I will wait for you here” StarrysAngel promised, wishing she could go with her.

     Lira gave Blue and StarrysAngel another hug. “I’ll miss you both so much” Lira said.

     “We will miss you too, Lira! See you soon and good luck” Blue said, wishing he could go with her.

     Lira looked at the entrance to Grave Danger – to her, it looked scary and she wished that she did not have to go in. She took one more glance at StarrysAngel and Blue and made her way towards Grave Danger, wondering what adventures she will have in there.

     Once Lira was inside Grave Danger’s catacombs, she noticed that there were smaller versions of the Altador Cup V Competition Torches hanging on the walls, to help Petpets see the way as it would have been dark without them. Lira noticed how cold it felt in the Grave Danger’s catacombs, and saw several Spyder webs here which had different coloured Spyders in them.

     Lira continued walking, feeling uncomfortable as she continued her adventure in the catacomb. For a while, she was alone until she saw several Ghost Meepits running past her, making an oohing noise in attempts to scare her, which seemed to work, for, she let out a scream and ran down a random passageway.

     Moments later, Lira found a treasure room which had several different types of treasure chests from Kreludan Treasure Chests to Discovered Treasure Chest. Lira noticed some of them had NeoPoints over flowing them. She could hardly believe her eyes and longed to tell StarrysAngel and Blue about them.

     While Lira was adventuring the Grave Danger catacombs, StarrysAngel and Blue waited outside for her.

     “This is so boring!” Blue complained.

     StarrysAngel giggled. “I bought a few things along while we wait for her to return. I heard some Petpets don’t return until at least nine hours later…” she told him.

     “What did you bring with you to pass time? Wow, nine hours, that sure is a long time” Blue said.

     “I took a few puzzles with us like the Draik Puzzle for example if you want to do one” StarrysAngel said, taking her Explorer Backpack off and smiling. She took out the Draik Puzzle and put it on the ground in front of them.

     Blue watched as StarrysAngel tipped the puzzle pieces out onto the ground, he joined her when she started looking for certain ones, he wondered how Lira was going on her adventure.

     Lira was doing well, at least for now. She had found an old ring with a triangular symbol and began battling it. She soon got bored with the old ring and continued her journey, stopping to have a quick snack and continuing after she finished eating. A while later, Lira noticed there was another Gold Snowbunny who looked exactly like her, they even had the Mini Explorer Backpack. She stared at the Gold Snowbunny, who stared back at her. Lira moved her right paw up as did the Gold Snowbunny, which made her stare even more at her doppelganger. ‘I simply must remember to tell this to StarrysAngel and Blue’ she thought.

     Lira began to dance and noticed that the doppelganger did the exact same thing, confusing and suddenly scaring her, she then noticed a Skidget not far from where she was and chased the Skidget past a sewer, she also chased a dragon, a mob of Meepits and found a safe spot to hide from them.

     Lira left the hiding spot a while later and continued her journey, going down some more stairs figuring she’d be deeper underground by now. She ran into another dragon and began to have a sneezing competition with it. The dragon appeared to have won the competition. Lira then left that room and smelt the scent of cinnamon rolls, how she loved them and followed the smell, only finding out that it led her to an empty corridor, which made her disappointed. Hours later, she made it to level 83 and sat around for a bit then had a bite to eat before going on with her journey.

     The next floor, she found a peanut, and some mummy bandages which she tried on, giggling at the thought of her being a mummy.

     Lira made it to another level, found a pile of Spyders and played Chase the Vernax with them, after getting bored of the game, she continued her adventure and made it to level 92 where she began chasing her tail. After she finished chasing her tail, she began looking around for something to bring back home, finding a Whole Anchovy Pizza, smiling, she took the Whole Anchovy Pizza and made her way back to StarrysAngel and Blue.

     When Lira returned to StarrysAngel and Blue, she saw that the Xweetok and Bumbluz were sleeping, smiling, the Golden Snowbunny ran up to StarrysAngel and Blue. “I’m back!” she announced in excitement, waking them up.

     “Yay, welcome back, Lira. We missed you! How was your journey?” StarrysAngel asked, hugging her Snowbunny, who quickly put the Whole Anchovy Pizza on the ground before hugging her, Lira returned her hug.

     “It was great! I found a Whole Anchovy Pizza and decided to bring it back with me for all of us to share” Lira said then told StarrysAngel and Blue all about her adventure while they ate the Whole Anchovy Pizza. StarrysAngel imagined the room full of treasure, while Blue was curious about the dragons and wondered how they got into the catacombs as they listened to Lira telling them about her journey.

     That’s where we will leave them, with Lira telling StarrysAngel and Blue everything that had happened in the Grave Danger catacombs, while enjoying a Whole Anchovy Pizza.
