"I'm busy!" called back an impatient voice.

Jubotica sighed. "Fine, but hurry up; dinner is getting cold!"

He could hear the Chomby pacing back down the stairs, her heavy feet pounding mercilessly away on the wooden floorboards. Slowly becoming inaudible, Kryonus listened until the sound had stopped, releasing a heavy breath of relief.

"Finally, some peace and quiet," the Chocolate Chia said, a small pencil clenched tightly within his sweet palms. His tongue stuck out aimlessly as he began to scribble away, the gentle strokes of the pencil cleansing his mind as he continued to write. With a grin, Kryonus gazed over his work. A small title hung at the top with an effulgent glow.

PET SPOTLIGHT APPLICATION: KRYONUS

He had barely reached the period of the first sentence before a loud voice boomed from below. "Kryonus! Dinner!"

With a grunt the Chia shoved the paper down onto the desk, his brow beginning to fold in discomfort. With a huff he made his way to the door and headed down the stairs, his gentle chocolate topping dripping endlessly behind him as he trailed. "I'm coming!"

The dinner had gone reasonably well, with all of the family being able to sit and have intelligent conversation... Until the subject had turned to who had the biggest eyes or something random like that. Jubotica had shrugged it off as she headed upstairs, determined to figure out whatever her younger sibling was plotting away at in his room.

Opening the door, the Chomby silently walked in. A small paper sat upon the desk and with a gentle swoop Jubotica picked it up. Her eyes trailed the paper, lighting up as she read. Suppressing the uncontrollable urge to laugh, she continued to read on.

PET SPOTLIGHT APPLICATION: KRYONUS

My name is Kryonus, the most perfect, uncontrollably adorable and strongest Chocolate Chia in the entirety of Neopia. Don't believe me? How about you... er... be quiet! So, why am I so great, I hear you ask? Well, what isn't there to love about me? I'm polite, modest and, best of all, made of 100% real milk chocolate.

Speaking of chocolate, I'm actually the first ever Chocolate pet to be introduced to the family which, as I'm sure you can tell, makes me incredibly special. Regardless of being the first, I am still filled with youth and have the most energy out of everyone in the family!

Did I mention that I am also the strongest? That's right! My family always save up codestones that they have won from games and activities in the spare storage room, just in case we ever need them – little do they know that I have used them all for training at the Mystery Island Academy! In fact, I'm so strong that my name has gone down in many Battledome legends, honestly! Just like the legend about me beating the Snowager and running away with all his goodies. I would tell you but I'm sure you've already heard all about it; after all, it is such a famous tale.

Anyways, I'm so sure that this will win Pet Spotlight, but just in case – I've enclosed a milk chocolate Chia snack for your... perusal. Over and out!
