The day where there is a slight breeze blowing but its hot? You go to a lake and the ducks are swimming peacefully along? Fly up in the sky and the world looks like…Crack! “Ahhhhh!” I jumped under the closest desk. Today is as far from that day as it can get! Lightning filled the room with light. “Bunniekin?” my owner called “Where are you?” “Under a desk that hides me from the…” Crack! I saw two hands. They pulled me from under the desk. I snuggled close to my owner. Boy, was I scared! “Bunnie, it’s only lightning and thunder. There is no reason to be scared!” No reason to be scared! I thought What about the rain and the thunder and the lightning? “Please don’t be afraid!” she begged as she sat down on the couch. She sat there stroking my ears. Crack! I tried to get in the middle of the couch and her but mommy wouldn’t let me! I cried. I’m scared! Frightened! “Bunnie? Would you like me to read you a story?” asked my mother. “Please…”Crack! I jumped and berried my face with my wings. “Once there was a kougra who loved chocolate so every day that kougra went to the chocolate shop and bought a piece of chocolate. But one day it was raining and the kougra was stuck at home and finally when it was just raining slightly the kougra’s mother let him go to the chocolate shop. So the kougra set off to go to the shop, soon the little kougra saw a puddle he jumped in it. He had so much fun that he didn’t get to the chocolate shop. And came home sopping wet instead of with a belly full of chocolate!” “Mommy? Can we go puddle jumping when the rain lets up?” I asked forgetting my fear of rain and lightning and thunder. “Maybe.” She answered back. Maybe today will be perfect even though it wouldn't be that hot… "Wheeeeeeeee!" I slid down the wet grassy hill it was fun! Puddle jumping is fun! Rolling down a wet grassy hill is fun! Yeaaaaaaaa! Suddenly, a ghost uni appeared! “Shoooo!” yelled my owner. “Fly!” is what she yelled at me. I leaped into the air but stumbled back to the ground. I didn’t have enough momentum! I ran, stretched out my wings and glided right above the ground. More ghost uni were coming. That is when they charged. This was their hill! I turned my wings up. The uni were right below me! I swooped grabbed my owner. She tried to get on my back, but fell! I got below her. She fell on my back. We when home, the uni stop way back there. I may be kinda small, but I’m strong! At home, my owner rewarded my with chocolate . Yummmmmmm!
