I am Sapphire_Tigress_Cat here to tell you about my precious neopet Blue_Jade_Rose, and her amazing imagination and love for books.

Blue_Jade_Rose was always a pet that loved to read, one day I decided to read her my favorite book by Philip Pullman. It was the first in a trilogy of three. It's title was The Golden Compass. I was so amazed at how much Blue_Jade_Rose loved the first book that I read her the second, then the third. When the last page was read and I shut the book she just looked up at me with a look on her face that read as clear as words " Why did you shut that book? It surely can't be over!" As if to emphasize the point that the reading was done, I stood up and she jumped out of my lap.

She still starred at me. "What?" I asked. She replied eagerly "When are we going to start the next one?!" I looked straight in her face and could tell she knew it was over, but didn't want to believe it. I shook my head slowly, and as if confused, she looked at the floor and started toward her bed.

I felt so bad that she was so sad that the trilogy had ended, that even though I couldn't yet afford a petpet, I got her a silver kougra plushie. She seemed happier then before but she was still disappointed. She must have gotten a great idea in the night, because in the morning she came to breakfast with a smile and a mysterious glint in her eye. It was such a beautiful day that immediately after she devoured the last spoonful of Neo Crunch cereal she scrambled out of her chair and out the door.

She stayed out side awhile and when I went to check on her I saw that she was playing with her kougra plushie in the middle of the shiny green lawn, still wet from the morning dew. I realized that Blue_Jade_Rose was making her own adventures with her companion the silver kougra plushie. Besides having adventures in the yard and house, she has wonderful dreams that she is flying on a cloud pine branch just like the witches in the story do. The way she describes the dreams, with such vivid details and description I feel like I can actually feel the moonlight against my skin.

I soon adopted another neopet and Blue_Jade_Rose was extremely jealous that her sister, Kirjava_Pantalaimon, got the name of her two favorite characters in the book, but other than that they love each other immensely and Blue_Jade_Rose even lets Kirjava_Pantalaimon join in her adventures.
