These Foodish Things

Some of the marvelous items collected in this exhibition could potentially feature in more than one of the different sections of this gallery; therefore, to avoid any confusion they have their own category. What's that you say? Where's Ye Olde Gift Shoppe? Nonsense! I don't know who told you that there was one of those; it should be gift enough to browse these treasures.

I HATE CARROTS! V1 Est. Y6 (2004), V2 Est. Y8 (2006), V3 Est. Y27 (2025)
Currently, only items with with the word 'carrot' in the title or description and those which contain obvious or researched carrot-related content make the cut for this exhibit. I used to gather all items with any carroty connection, be it literal, visual, or implied. It became an obsession but after therapy got to the 'root' of it, I learned to discern; now I just have the slightest eye-twitch when anyone asks: "Does that have carrots in it?

DANGEROUS VEGETABLES V1 Est. Y6 (2004), V2 Est. Y27 (2025)
DO NOT play with your food, or any food for that matter but particularly the food you can see in this section of my gallery. It's not regular food. I should probably stop referring to it as food, that might help. No, really, put that do- oh dear, that's going to leave a mark. This section includes items containing 'plant matter' that is not botanically classified as a vegetable but is treated as such in nutritional and culinary traditions, for example: grains, fungi and nuts.

As you may have read in the Neopian Times (Dodgy Dinners), some of my more malevolently-inclined Neopets are up to some rather unpalatable mischief! This exhibit features some extremely dubious items that may have been included in an attempt to cover up what's really going on here by throwing any too inquisitive visitors off the scent (and what a scent there is!) Bon Appétpétit, or not.

Will these ever actually be exhibited in my main gallery? Your guess is as good as mine but nevertheless, here's the best I can do with what's available; I was grateful for the help from my expert curator, Rumpledstiltskin. One day, perhaps I will be able to add these virtual examples to my real, but also confusingly virtual, gallery.
