Yes, you are welcome to continue submitting throughout the rest of the week. This not only applies to those who write the start of the story, but to those who may have written any of the subsequent entries that get posted, as well.

Something to bear in mind, however: if two submissions of relatively equal merit come in for the same slot, and one of them is written by someone who's already been posted that week and the author of the other entry hasn't been selected, then chances are that the latter's entry will be the one that gets chosen for that slot.

A lot of people are routinely waiting an hour (or even six hours) because of the Curse of Fatigue. This is how long I have to wait, which I think is unfair: you must wait 279 hour(s), 3 minute(s), and 33 second(s) for Curse of Fatigue to wear off before you can proceed. Just how fatigued is this group to have to wait eleven days? I don't want to miss any more of this plot step. Please help! ~flufflepuff
If your Curse of Fatigue timer seems overly long (or the puzzle won't let you proceed to the next level), check to make sure your computer's system clock is set to the correct time and date. This should fix the issue. (Before you ask, no, it's not possible to cheat by adjusting your clock. It just fixes issues like the ones above.)

I was recently chosen to appear in the Poetry Contest twice for the same theme. I cannot recall this happening before. I know that, with the Caption Contest, some players have had two entries picked. I've started to sift through the pages and found one poem published twice (in English and then in French) on the same page, but to me that doesn't really count. Generally speaking, the Poetry Contest judge only allows one winning entry per username for each page of poems. Accidents happen, though. If memory serves correctly, it's not the first time someone's been chosen twice for one contest, but in 13+ years of posting poems, it probably hasn't happened more than a handful of times.

We always do feel a tinge of guilt when we see players wishing for a Baby Paint Brush and being given a Baby Brush Plushie. :X Please remember that it's just a wishing well. It's not very bright, and it doesn't have the ability to grant such lofty wishes as paint brushes.

I have seen some people saying things like "Check DTI 535968" or "DTI 535968." It references an outfit on Dress to Impress, and people who visit the site understand it's part of a URL for DTI. They do this because we aren't allowed to link directly to DTI. Is this allowed? Please remove my username. ~username removed
We think we answered this pretty recently, but we would like to further impress that it's just fine! :)

Why did you design the Caption Contest to display the number of votes each entry has, whereas the Beauty Contest votes are hidden until the end? ~sunkissedangel
If we recall correctly, players were often just going to the top of the list and voting for those already at the top of the list, making it rather unfair. That's the reason we took it out. Since the Caption Contest entries are randomised on the page, we don't think it's too much of an issue at the moment, but you're welcome to disagree, of course.

Hey, TNT! I have long been curious since the first time the Werhond came into Neopia: do they have tails?! Obviously at first glance it appears that they do, but really, since we can't see the whole thing, I've often wondered: is it a tail, or perhaps another limb?!? I would love to draw pictures of them, but I don't want to give the little one a tail if it has none, or worse, give it a tail that does not match its own!!! :o Please, can you answer this perplexing question? Hi. I'm writing in to thank you for creating such a wonderful site. I've been playing for over five years now. Neopets is a great way to express creativity, so I thoroughly enjoy it, whether through customization, Neohomes, or contests. The staff members are friendly and professional, and the site is kept clean so it isn't a place for negative thoughts / harassment. It's a great escape from reality for when you need a break. Neopets has also taught me how to phrase messages over the computer without sounding pushy. Because the other person can't see my face or hear my voice, they could misunderstand my message. Hi, TNT! I just wanted to contribute to the warm fuzzies you guys get (or, at least, should be getting!) each week. I've been on Neopets since I was 9 years old and, though I've taken a couple of hiatuses and switched to a new main account since then, I've loved that Neopets has always been there for me to return to. As an aspiring writer, I love writing for the Times and all of the other writing opportunities you have. I also love seeing all the cool new stuff you guys have to offer all the time. The site is constantly having something fresh and new to do! I'm a lot older now than I was when I started, and though my roommates make fun of me a bit when I start screeching at my laptop when Brucey B beats me in Cheat!, I am a proud Neopian still!
