Chapter 9: Light at the End of the Tunnel
The gang tries to find a way through the mysterious door within the tunnel, but it seems to be locked by some kind of ancient device. This shortcut may not turn out to be as short as they were hoping!

I’m fine… I just don’t know where I am. What about you and the others?
Luxinia
We’re fine! We broke through the stone, but it just led to an empty room…
Luxinia
Are you sure you’re okay? How far did you fall?
Baelia
It was a bit of a fall, but I’m okay. Probably have a decent bruise on my back, though…
Luxinia
I’m so sorry. It’s all my fault! If I had just been braver… you wouldn’t be in this mess.
Baelia
Hey, don’t say that! It was my choice! I didn’t know what else to do in the moment… I saw the hole, and I couldn’t let you fall!
Luxinia
But Baelia… I—I have wings.
Baelia
Heh… hahaha.
Baelia
I really am worthless, aren’t I?!
Luxinia
Don’t say that!
Baelia
Why not? It’s true, isn’t it? I’ve got you all lost and put myself in danger for nothing!
Luxinia
Baelia, what you did was brave… braver than I’ve ever been able to be. We’re going to figure this out! Okay?
