Captain Tuan leads the crew of the Cyodrake's Gaze, one of Shenkuu's finest flying ships. Though he prides himself on keeping order with the crew, his rowdy sailors don't always cooperate. His ship became notorious throughout Neopia when his navigator, Hoban, was thrown overboard and lost at sea. Never one to panic, Captain Tuan asked Neopians everywhere to help find his missing crew member, and Hoban was soon rescued. Captain Tuan prefers not to dwell on the incident, usually changing the subject to his beautiful homeland of Shenkuu.

The Gnorbu captain believes that hard work is essential to life on a ship. He has little patience for sailors who can't finish their work or control their tempers. But no matter how aggravating his crew can be, Captain Tuan is proud to sail Neopia in his splendid flying ship.
