The Nightsteed
A blue Uni by day, the Nightsteed reveals its monstrous form as soon as the sun sinks below the Lost Desert sands. Drawing the Nightsteed is complex, but by following these twelve easy steps, you'll have your own drawing of this terrifying creature in no time.

Draw two smaller leaf shapes inside his ears to give them more detail. Just above the oval you drew for his snout, sketch in a pair of angry eyes. On his snout, add two dots for the Nightsteed’s nostrils, and then make his mouth. Be sure to include his bit when drawing the Nightsteed's mouth. Create his harness by placing three rings along the side of his body and connecting them with pairs of slightly curved lines. The harness should also have three straps that go over the Nightsteed's back.

Give your Nightsteed drawing a long, flowing mane and tail. Also, add some jagged lines at the tops of his hooves to show his fur.

Erase all of your extra lines.

It's time to give your drawing some detail. Add tiny cracks to the Nightsteed's hooves, some lines to his mane and tail, a few curved lines on his horn, and some rough patches on his legs, head, wings, and body to show decay. Next, give his wings some ragged feathers, and draw a pair of curving reins coming from the bit in the Nightsteed's mouth.
