The Life of Poogle49--Life Is Hard

It all started 5 months ago when I was not even born. A girl came to town carrying a big bag and was very poor. She came to the gates of Neopia and entered. Her name was Jenn49. She walked with a smile into the town and bought a red apple. She walked on till she got to the Kiko lake. Jenn49 sat and looked in to the water brushing her hair in the reflection. She put the bag under her head and fell asleep.

The next morning she a woke with a start! During the night, a careless Scorchio had started a fire. Jenn49 ran as fast as she could to warn the town. Then she sLiPpEd! Jenn49 got up and looked beside her she had tripped on 4 Neo eggs! She put them carefully in her bag and ran to the town.

The fire did little damage, luckily. Jenn49 was very hungry so she slipped into the closest cafe and sat at the table closest to the window and sipped a smoothie. Then another girl came by with a pink Kacheek. She sat down at Jenn49's table not noticing she was there. She gave her Kacheek some Neopoints and it waddled off with glee. The strange girl turned toward Jenn49 and gave a jump. "Sorry," she said, "very sorry!" Jenn49 looked at her and just smiled. They started talking about NeoPets and the girl Kacheek till Jenn noticed she did not know the girl's name. Jenn asked her and she replied, "Neogirl80, and that is my Kacheek trixie180."

"Wow, she is cute," Jenn49 said. Jenn said that she had to go when her bag started to shake. "The eggs!" Jenn poured the eggs onto the table and Neogirl80 smiled from ear to ear.

"Jenn49," Neogirl80 said, "these are Neo eggs! Quick they are hatching! Come to my place down the street and we can talk."

At Neogirl80's apartment the girls laid the eggs on the floor and they both watched intensely. First to come was a little blue fuzzy thing. Jenn gave a questionative look to Neogirl80 and she answered, "Acara." Then came a green frog, as if Neogirl80 knew what Jenn49 was going to ask she said, "Quiggle." The next two came just as smoothly as the others it was a Jubjub and a Poogle (ME!). Jenn49 was overjoyed because she loved us all so much right away. What came next was hard for all of us.

I (poogle49) and my brothers and sisters were growing little tikes, we ate so much that Jenn49 could not keep up with the cost. We where getting poorer and poorer. Then Jenn said she was taking us to the POUND! We were scared but she said that it was the best for us and that she was going to get us good owners. We were torn.

At the pound there was an ugly lady and next to me was another Poogle named greenstrips (he was scared too). Then Ms. Worely stood up and took all of us in one foul swoop, even greenstrips. Then her grip loosened and I dropped out and ran back to my owner and into her arms. Jenn49 put me into her bag and walked off crying.

We lived with Neogirl80 and trixie in their apartment. Jenn cried every night. Our life has gotten a lot better and I was getting good at finding Codestones for Jenn49.

One morning the apartment was quite quiet. Jenn led me into the kitchen and there on the floor lay Neogirl80, in grave condition. "She was hacked!" Jenn49 said and then untied the ropes Neogirl80 was in tears. Neogirl80 sobbed, "They took trixie!" She got up and ran. I knew that I would see her again, but for now we had to leave. We packed our bags and left for Kiko lake.

A month passed, and we had built a little cabin to live in. Jenn49 was doing great--she had a job and a lot of money. She still has pictures that my old brothers and sisters had colored for her. Jenn49 missed them I know but she Neomailed their new owners and gave them the news on their past lives and told her what a joy they were to be around.

One day we were having dinner when a knock came to the door. It was Jenn49's sister. She had the best little Korbat. Kaylyn15 lived with us for a while. After she had settled in, my master, Jenn49 made a great dinner. When she asked me for the Neo eggs. I sprung up and got to the kitchen and got them from the fridge, they seemed heavy and almost a blue color. When I handed her the box she smiled and looked at me she said, "These eggs are Neo eggs."

"Wow," I replied. At dinner Jenn49 gave the eggs to Kaylyn15. She was so happy!

The next day Kaylyn15 came out of her room with a blue Grundo, moofspoof and Romeo_49 the Cybunny. She left that day to go find her fortune.

My life with Jenn49 was the best--I loved it. It was winter now and I loved to play in the snow. After dinner one night I slipped out of my bed and got my skates. I went out and was going toward the pond, then their was a noise! A Lupe came and pounced on me. I squealed, as I could feel his hungry breath. Just then another Poogle came and pounced on the Lupe and chased it away. I still lay on the ground with a cut on my neck (the Lupe had landed on my neck like a heavy rock!). The yellow Poogle introduced himself. His name was bananaboatdude, and he was hunky! He walked me home and knocked on the door. Jenn49 opened it and she...............she............ hugged me. I was confused; I thought she would be angry. She let bananaboatdude stay the night and we talked about where he was from and who his owner was.

The next morning i_am_valentina came to the door and picked up bananaboatdude, then she asked if I wanted to go for a walk. I was delighted! I loved the walk, it was great. And bananaboatdude even asked me out! I finally felt safe. A family, a boyfriend, and lots of friends. I loved it!

When I got home I could not believe it, but there were presents on the table. But where was Jenn49 and who were they for? Then it happened. Jenn walked out of the kitchen with a baby Kacheek! She was so cute. She laid her on the table and said, "This is your baby sister Lasasha, I got her from the adoption center....Now open your gifts."

"Oh my gosh, the gift was...was...was...a purple paintbrush!"

I looked at the second gift but it wasn't for me. I opened it anyway and it was a striped paintbrush for Lasasha!

"Wow that was it. This was the best part of my life!"
