The Editorial:

The Editorial section has changed. To make it more useful to everybody we have decided to take the most frequently asked questions we receive each week here so you can get a thorough answer straight away from one of the creators of NeoPets. Here are the most frequently asked questions NeoPets support received this week:

1 - How do I restore my NeoPets back up to full hit points if they are bloated?
There are many ways you can do this. There are a variety of potions, elixirs and healthshrooms you can give to your NeoPet to recover hit points. They all have different strengths so some will restore more hit points that others. If you are running low on Neopoints or cannot find any items that will heal your NeoPet you could also visit the Healing Springs in Faerieland. A kind Water Faerie will either heal your NeoPet, all your NeoPets or give you a special healing potion.

2 - Once you start your NeoPet on a course at the training school can you change?
No, as soon as you select which of your NeoPets you want to study a certain subject it must persevere with that course until completion. Remember you need to pay the correct amount of codestones before you NeoPet can finish its course.

3 - How do I get my story or article in the Neopian Times?
Each week we select the best stories, articles and mini-series to publish. If you want your work to be read by all of Neopia simply send your finished piece to NeopianTimes@neopets.com. Remember to include your user name or we won't know who sent it in.

4 - What do you do with the spells, scrolls and enchantments?
These will all become useful in the Battledome. We are constantly adding more items, abilities and enchantments to the game but we need to test each new addition before we can add another. The NeoPets Battledome is still a Beta version. This means it is not the complete version it is just the first release before everything has been tested.

5 - Can my NeoPets get jobs?
Yes, if you think your NeoPets should start to earn their keep you can go to the Employment Agency on Faerieland and find a suitable job. The pay, benefits and hours will differ depending on your NeoPets age, level and strengths.

6 - Can you grow the plants from the gardening shop?
At the moment no, but your NeoPet will be able to have its own home, furniture and garden in the future. This will be after the completion of the Battledome, until then keep hold of your plants as their price will increase as soon as they become useful.

7 - Why can only certain NeoPets be painted certain colours?
The colours your NeoPet can change into depend on its species. Some NeoPets wouldn't be seen dead in a Faerie costume but can't get enough of their Halloween gear. Every NeoPet will have several options that you can colour it and we will be adding to these all the time.

8 - When will we be able to play the special characters in the NeoPets Battledome?
We are just developing the finished version of the multi-player battledome, once we have added in all the items, abilities and magic powers the tournament will begin. This will be an on-going event to find the best fighter in all Neopia. Winners will earn themselves great prizes such as Neopoints, rare items and trophies for their cabinets. When the multi-player tournament is up and running the single player game will be launched and you will be able to fight all the special characters you have collected.

9 - When will the other battle domes open?
The battle domes that are scattered throughout Neopia will be used to host certain rounds of the multi-player tournament. All will be revealed in the near future:)

10 - How do I get Faerie wings for my NeoPet?
First you need to find a Faerie Paintbrush. You can get these from random events, games such as Dice-A-Roo and in the magic shop. Once you have your paintbrush simply take it to the Rainbow Pool and you can colour your NeoPet. Note - not all NeoPets can be coloured with the Faerie Paintbrush. It is best to go to the Rainbow Pool and check that your NeoPet can be changed before hunting down the Paintbrush.
