Coming back to Neopets in 2026, from when you played as a kid is life-changing:
Whether you returned with your childhood account or started completely over, Neopets is still a great fun game to play. Sometimes it can be hard to choose what you want to do or where to even start. Things that seem so unobtainable are no longer that expensive.

A Faerie Draik? Maraquan Paint Brush, most limited-edition pets won't set you back as much as you think. In fact, most paint brushes are very obtainable and won't break that Neo Bank of yours. No matter what your dream pet is, when there is a will, there is a way. Even the Lab Ray Map is very easy to obtain in the current day. Remember when they were over 1m per piece? Back in my day.
Some dreams and retired petpets can still be hard to find, but at the end of the day, having a goal to work towards helps fill the time in the day. It is very easy to lose track of time once you get back into the swing of things. It's about finding a good balance; make time for the things you want to do.

30 Gross Foods for a Terrible Party
Food is typically the centrepiece for any great function. Or even any bad function, since it will at least get the conversation flowing, leaving no more awkward silences with your third cousin you've never met before the night. But when you’re celebrating, there are certain foods you probably want to avoid if you want party guests to still like you after the shindig. I have put together a list of the thirty grossest foods that will keep your guests from wanting seconds. That is, if they even show up at all once they hear of this horrifying menu. So take heed! Or take notes. Depending on who you are inviting to this gathering. Wiggling Grub Surprise The surprise is your horror! Chocolate Covered Onion Chocolate makes everything better! Unless it’s a raw onion. No sugar coating that. Or chocolate coating that. Even though you did put chocolate on it? Coconut Ketchup Stew Cracking open a coconut is difficult, but often rewarding. But why you would want to pour hot ketchup into that is beyond me. You go through all that work just to ruin it? Talk about poor payoff. Blueberry Beetle Cracker The crackers are probably fine on their own, but topping them with a live bug is a little horrifying. But maybe if you’re lucky, the beetle will just walk away, leaving you with the cracker. Of course, you don't know what the beetle left on the cracker for you. Maybe it's best you don't ask too many questions. Dr. Backwash Putting the word “doctor” in it doesn’t help – this is just someone else’s spit in a bottle. And, quite frankly, I don't think he is a real doctor either. You might want to contact the Neopian Medical Board over this if you end up with it. Strawberry Ice Cream with Balsamic Vinegar Syrup Strawberry ice cream is good. Balsamic vinegar with strawberries are good. But just because strawberries can go well with both on... |

But this time, imagine a different kind of festival with me, one filled with bouncy rhythms, whimsical melodies, and ethereal harmonies brought to you by the Faeries themselves. If the Faeries were to form a band for this grand celebration, which instrument would best suit each of them? Let your ears be enchanted by the energetic beats, catchy tunes, and nostalgic blues played by none other than our very own Faeries of Neopia. The stage is set, the instruments are tuned, and it’s time for some Faerie music!

From the glades of Meridell, Illusen strums this earthy, rustic Illusens Ukalalie, bringing everyone a relaxing forest tune. Her gentle melodies keep the band grounded, perfectly fitting for Illusen’s warm and nurturing personality. You might catch her in her garden, plucking a few tunes while tending to her blossoming flowers and towering bushes, hoping the soothing music helps them grow. Other times, however, those tunes might not sound quite as relaxing, especially if you return from one of her quests with the wrong item in hand! |

"Hanso and the Blorbulous" by xakemii
Long before Fyora bestowed him with the title of Master Thief, Hanso had spent many years building his skills—figuring out how to pick locks, how to assess whether a guard could be bought for a reasonable amount of Neopoints, and most importantly: learning to never make plans that involved Petpets. The vehement way he delivered this last bit always got you interested. Hanso did it on purpose, of course. He needed you to let your guard down by drawing you into a conversation. It was an entertaining story. By the end of it, your pockets would be lighter, and you wouldn’t be entirely sure if any of it had been true. *** Hanso held his breath, waiting for the smoke to clear. Slowly, the Laboratory came back into focus, and Hanso could once again see the metal surfaces, each covered with hundreds of differently sized coloured buttons. But Hanso didn’t care about the stray sparks shooting out from each corner of the room. He was single-mindedly focused on the Blorpulous standing on the small pedestal under the two large spiral ray guns, pointing straight at it and still emitting a low humming noise. Hanso was not impressed. As far as he could tell, the Blorpulous looked exactly the same, and that was not what he had signed up for. He turned towards the Kookith—the one wearing a white laboratory coat... |

Neopia Central. It was a cheerful morning, with the sun shining through the clouds, painting them in every colour of the rainbow. Beekadoodles, Whoots, and Weewoos played tag in the sky, while in Neopian Plaza, a sweet Spardel chased a mischievous Warf that had stolen its toy bone.
Nearby, in a colourful Neohome decorated mainly in pink and purple and surrounded by a large blooming garden, Daisy, the Usukigirl Usul, was in her bedroom with her beloved Petpet. Both were carefully getting ready for a major Usuki event taking place that very day. The Usul brushed her long, silky purple-and-green hair with a Pink Sparkly Brush, applied Sparkling Usuki Eye Shadow, Subtle Blush, and Sparkling Usuki Lipstick, and finished with her favourite fragrance, Kaias Floral Perfume. She wore a pink dress with a purple belt and a pair of bright, eye-catching pink high heels. As for accessories, she was still trying to decide which ones to wear.
There were so many options, from earrings and brooches to bracelets and hair clips. Daisy chose the Dyeworks Green: Pastel Blue Hair Bow for her hair and the Pink Usul Bow for her long tail, both of which added a delicate touch and matched her outfit perfectly. Her wardrobe was complete, filled with every variety of tops, dresses, pants, skirts, and, of course, shoes—especially high heels, which were her favourites. |
"The Sweetest Disaster in Neopia" by kindnessx
Mike the Yellow Kiko had been working at the Chocolate Factory for three years, and in all of that time, he had never had an idea quite as exciting as the one that came to him on a rainy Tuesday morning. He was standing behind the counter of the Chocolate Factory, staring at a mountain of freshly made chocolate bars. “Hmm, that pile is too small,” he muttered. He looked at another pile. “Well, that pile looks even smaller.” He said in frustration. Then he glanced at the copper mixing bowl in the back of the factory where warm chocolate was being stirred by a mechanical paddle. He had a bright idea. “What if we made it bigger?” He said. The other workers stopped what they were doing. “Made what bigger?” A Green Shoyru questioned while wrapping Chocolate-Coated Kreludan Milk Balls. “I was thinking we could make the fountain bigger!” Mike exclaimed, pointing toward the marketplace outside the factory windows. “Neopia has never seen anything like it. A chocolate fountain in the middle of the marketplace and not one of those little fountains you see at parties. I’m talking about a gigantic fountain that has chocolate pouring from the top, cascading down several levels and filling the whole marketplace with the smell of warm chocolate!” “And who do you think is going to clean that?” The Shoyru asked. |
