Since the discovery of new lands, and new illnesses, many new cures have also been found. They don't get used very much though, do they? We thought it might be because not many knew what to use the new cures for. There is also the fear that they may not work as well as the old stand-bys. This may well be true in some cases. However, when the cure you know will work costs over 100,000 Neopoints and you might be able to cure your pet with one that costs less then 500 Neopoints, you may just try the new one out of desperation (and an empty pocket). Hopefully, this chart will narrow your choices for you. Mind you, we don't guarantee any of them, so please do not blame us if the alternative cure does not work. We are making suggestions based on the information that comes with each cure. If the alternative cure does work, please let us know so we can tell others. As always, you can try your luck with the Faerie at THE HEALING SPRINGS She will cure your Neopet for free, although sometimes it takes a few visits. Make sure your sick Neopet is the active pet. That's the one that shows up in the top left corner of your screen. You can go back every 30 minutes or so if she didn't cure your Neopet the first time. There are also the shops that sell medicine and more exotic cures-Alternative Medicine, using herbs and teas. The one we most know is the Pharmacy as it has been in business the longest. During the battles in The Lost Desert, many pets found that Emergency Supplies came in very handy. With the Discovery of Shenkuu we discovered Remarkable Restoratives and even more exotic medicines and folk cures. Quick Jump IMPORTANT - SUBMISSION POLICY!
