Things That We're Lucky Enough To Ignore! In the Neopets universe, my pets' clothes never get dirty! There is no need for a Neopian Laundromat, for example, to wipe out coffee and ketchup stains. Inspired by this random thought, I thought I'd ask my fellow players, in what ways is the Neopets universe more fun and convenient than real life? What are some things that we're lucky enough to ignore?

"Inside the Bottle" by frenchleijon
"Here you go kid – I guess you earned it.” Rough hands reached into the large blue bag and grabbed the earth faerie’s bottle and a codestone. Both were immediately placed into another set of hands.
“Oh boy, theses will sell fantastically! Wait until I get home to show mom!” the young Kougra exclaimed, and took off towards his home. Aethia bounced around in her bottle, having been shrunk down to a little over the size of an apple. It was difficult to see out of the green tinted glass, but she watched her bottle being placed on a shelf next to bottles similar to hers. A small white sticker was then placed on the glass, over most of her field of vision. Aethia struggled to make out the letters – 100 neopoints.
Aethia never meant to get caught up in this mess. She didn’t even really remember how it happened. She remembered running off to play in the forest, wanting to pick flowers to bring home to her friends. Natalie, a water faerie, never got out much to really enjoy the forest. Aethia would trade her flowers for coral, which she made all sorts of cool decorations out of. It happened before she realized it, but suddenly Balthazar had her corked up tightly in a bottle.

Usually our days involved little more than a tour around Neopia, visiting the tombola and taking a chance at the Poogle races. But every so often we struck out on an adventure, something unusual or exciting…
Our biggest adventure started out like an ordinary day – at the giant omelette, scrounging for a spot of breakfast.
Trouble. Habib wished that they were facing Trouble, the blue Babyca, now. Unfortunately, trouble in this case was three dark faeries. Not one. Not two. Three!
Neoquest II: The Forgotten Heroine: Part One
Arthur was a Red Bruce who had gotten caught up in the Neoquest hype a bit later than the other children, but he too enjoyed playing Neoquest II. Eventually though, what happens to most gamers happened to him too, he found that the game’s plot was hackneyed, and repetitive, and it felt more like work than playing, so he quit in the middle of his Evil Mode run. Several years later, when all of that was a distant memory, he passed by a store one day and something displayed on the window caught his eye. It looked like a Neoquest game, but the title and cover were different, it said; Neoquest II: The Forgotten Heroine.
And Then There Was Silence: Part Seven
The sun is only just beginning to set, but the rocky cliffs that surround the town of Cogham like silent sentinels cast shadows so fierce upon the land they shelter that, within their ring of protection, it is dark enough to look like dusk. A few Vullards circle the mountains from overhead, as if anticipating a catastrophe to happen in the valley below. If everything goes correctly, they may not be wrong…
