Adee has appeared all over Neopia, she's been featured as a contestant in Better Than You three times now, can be found asking about your neofriends and discussing world events in random events you'll come across browsing the site, and was even see in Caption Contest #526. You'll be hard pressed to find another Chia as omnipresent as Adee. Luckily, we were able to get her away from her busy schedule for a quick interview. Hopefully we'll learn a lot about her past, present, and future. |

"Elephante Dancer’s Lament" by kahlen369
It was hard not to get angry or hateful, when it seemed like life had gifted the Pink Xweetok with all the perfect parts needed to be great, thanks to her sleek form and beautifully feminine hair, while Emily had been born with a body so large and bulky, in a colour that stood out in the worst way when combined with their pretty pink tutus.
All too often, Emily could only look at Thalia, and wonder and wish, what her life might’ve been like if she could be like her. In desperation, the Pink Elephante had begun to search for morphing potions, thinking to herself that perhaps she might have a chance if she’d were a Xweetok like Thalia, or their teacher, Ms. Amelia. Intellectually, she knew, that it probably wouldn’t help as much as she hoped, that other species were just as perfectly capable of being incredible dancers. But Emily could only see her dream, and the reality that is was seemingly not meant to be.
According to her research, the cheapest morphing potions that could turn her into what she wanted was a Yellow Xweetok Morphing Potion. It was still over twenty thousand neopoints, but considering achieving her dream was priceless, Emily was perfectly ready to pay it. |

"Why are we working for this guy?" Hallie said, her face full of exasperation.
"We need the money. And there are very limited jobs around Neopia. Needing tickets and stuff for the more decent jobs. And everyone grabs the basic jobs like vultures." I groaned.
Plus, for a greedy Kacheek like him he actually gives a decent paycheck.""True." Was all Hallie replied before concentrating on the dirty dishes. She turned the faucet and the clear water poured over the dishes. I just continued sweeping until the floor was spotless. "I wonder where Chloe is?"
"Who knows. He's probably making her sort his books in his library again. The nine million books he has in there."
As Hallie was washing the dishes, a smirk grew across her petite face as the dishes became covered in bubbly soap. She decided to flick dish soap at me.
"Hey!" I exclaimed while Hallie laughed. I went over to the sink, dipped my hands in the lukewarm water, and splashed bubbles at her in retaliation. Her mouth opened in shock and I started to laugh. Then, it turned into an all out water fight.
In the midst of our fun, Thade barged into the kitchen. "What is going on here?!" He yelled. Hallie and I froze. "My kitchen is a complete mess! CLEAN IT UP IMMEDIATELY." His voice boomed as he stormed away.
After a brief silence, all Hallie and I could do was burst into complete laughter.. |

“It cost us 1 million Neopoints, Pit. The only thing that food was good for was your Gourmet Food counter. Not to mention the fact that you brought that thing into the Battledome and made a fool of yourself when you tried to heal yourself with it.”
Pit groaned and rolled his eyes. “Isn’t there somewhere you need to be? We could go on all day about my past purchases and get nowhere.”
Jarnk shivered as he opened the door of the house, letting the cold winds and winter flurries into the warm home. “Yeah. I’ll be back later, I might be a couple of hours. It’s a bit of a walk to the Altador Carriage Transport to Neopia Central.”
Pit’s ears perked up. “You’re not buying a petpet from Altador? The petpet shop is just a short walk away.”
Jarnk flashed a grin at the Zafara. “I have something else in mind. I have to get to the Neopian Marketplace to buy one of these bad boys.” |
