Cerys the Cybunny Explorer by catchinglights
--------
On this day, you'd be surely erring, To neglect this Cybunny truly daring. Cerys explores the Desert's tombs, Even those containing true doom. The Lost Desert has many secrets hidden away, Explorers there are promised a grand payday. But also do evil and terror abound, It was such that poor Cerys found. Adept was she at reading the script, Favored by the makers of the ancient crypt. Blinded was she by the promise of loot, She failed to read of the missive's dispute. Guided by the light through an unnatural gap, Little did Cerys know she had triggered a trap. The lost village had been beset by greed, And so they had left their story to heed. The evil wanted wealth that within the village dwell, So the villagers buried it and trapped the evil as well. Their leader stands eternally watchful, To prevent the escape of that which is awful. Deep within the tomb stands a coffin of gold, Forgotten by history because it was old. And yet from within it exuded pure gloom, What was inside, Cerys did not dare exhume. Cerys was lucky that she had a friend, Or she might have met her bitter end. Her absence was noticed by Charles the Lupe, Who to her rescue with a rope he did swoop. So Cerys might not have had riches to sell, But at least she learned of the story to tell. This experience could have gone a different way, But brave Cerys did live to explore another day.
