Great stories!

The Nightmare: Part One
The sun shined brightly in a dense forest. Evergreen trees surrounded the field in a thick shade, the leaves and branches rustling in the wind. A lone insect circled around, its wings fluttering, beating the summer air. A pair of hands clasped together, missing the tiny bug by a hair. Arthur stood upright on his toes, smirking at the quickness of the insect.

Chronicles of a Caped Crusader: Days Yet to Pass: Part Two
Chloe had been disoriented from the start, but now she was sure she’d gone off the deep end. She’d been teleported to some unknown location, chased by guards, found a room filled with the most ridiculous data she’d ever seen, and now she was confronted by a Pteri who looked too much like a much older version of her brother for comfort.

Confessions of a Neopets Fanatic
It began so insidiously. I signed in just to do a few dailies, mostly just for the fun of it: Fruit Spin (because I was eternally hopeful for an Eventide Paint Brush), Tombola (because the Tiki Tack Man missed me if I didn’t pay him my daily visit, and occasionally he tossed a nice codestone at me), and Coltzan’s Shrine (because who in her right mind wanted to miss out on free stats?).

A Slimey Valentine
They shouldn't make those games so realistic.

Duplicity: Part Ten
Lisha heard some incomprehensible murmuring grow louder as she walked toward the eastern courtyard. In the distance, she made out a small shadow stretched out over the walls, covering the cobwebs and Spyders hiding underneath. That shadow eventually developed into the shape of a Wocky, and Lisha subsequently recognized the low, nasal voice as Danner’s. The man himself was leaning against the wall, repeatedly rotating his thumbs around one another.
