Kou-Jong School

by 9kas

--------

Oh, welcome! My name is Linae,

A Kou-Jong game master, they say.

     It’s true, I’m quite good

     As a game master should!

Come on in - would you like to play?

But first, let me teach you the rules

So you won’t be playin’ like a fool!

     A few tips and tricks

     Will get you transfixed

Now let us begin Kou-Jong School!

We start with a tower of tiles,

The layers stacked up in a pile:

     Remove tiles in pairs

     ‘Til none remain there

And that’s how you beat it in style!

To match the tiles they must be free

Nothing can surround them, you see -

     For tiles left and right

Or up top makes it tight

     So work outside-in - that’s the key!

The next rule that you have to follow

Is tiles must be matched with its equal.

     And even the tiniest

     Difference so slightest

Means matching those would be a no-go!

But each rule does have its exception

For if you see flowers or seasons

     Pair two of the four

     Unique tiles to score

As long as they’re part of the collection.

And last but not least I’d suggest

To put your quick speed to the test.

     For if you are fast

     In clearing the last

I will deem you the best of the best!

So these are the rules of Kou-Jong,

Just heed them and you can’t go wrong!

     A shiny gold trophy

     Is in your destiny

And soon you’ll be playin’ all day long!
