What You Need Become The Ultimate Cosy Gamer

by cibola

--------

It's fun to be a gamer, no matter what games you're playing. You may be playing something difficult and stressful like Typing Terror, or maybe you're one to play something a bit more chill like Turmac Roll. No matter what kind of gamer you are, you want to feel relaxed and happy while you're playing. You want to feel cosy! How do you do that? Well, that's what I'm here for! I've compiled a list of all the items you need to be the ultimate cosy gamer. Let's dive right in.

Let's start with the most obvious thing, a Cosy Gamer Background. You need the vibes to be right in your space. The blues and purple around you will keep you feeling calm, no matter what kind of game you're playing. The neon Uncommon Blue Collectable Scarab sign gives just the right amount of light so you can see your keyboard but not bright enough to hurt your eyes. Surrounded by plushies, you'll feel perfectly cosy with this background around you.

Sometimes you play for hours and hours, and I'm telling you that's totally okay. But you need to be cosy while you're doing it! May I suggest grabbing a Neopias Top Gamer Chair? The oversized nature will make sure you sink into the cushions in the best way, while also keeping you upright enough to reach the keyboard and mouse. The cupholder is an added bonus to keep your favorite slushie close by. Fun fact: did you know this chair was designed by user rabbitguns?

If you're planning to game for hours, you need to make sure all distractions are blocked out and you're ready to focus fully on your games. You need a good pair of headphones! There are many options for you out there, like Aisha Ear Headphones or just basic Gaming Headphones, but I'm going to suggest you pick up a pair of Snowbunny Neon Gamer Headphones. The light-up ears will help your cosy gamer ambience even more. Plus, who doesn't want some Snowbunny ears?

With the Scarab sign and your Snowbunny ears, the light for your gaming is pretty great. However, sometimes you might lose a snack or drop your controller. It's smart to have a Bendy Desk Light on your desk ready to snap on when you need an extra spotlight to find things. It's close by, it's cute, and it'll get the job done to find that Gummy Pink Kacheek Fruit Snack you dropped behind the keyboard!

Before you get cosy in your chair after rolling out of bed, you want to grab a hoodie to keep you warm while you're gaming the day away. The Kawaii Pink Oversized Hoodie gives cute, cosy gaming vibes that will keep you feeling positive, even if you're playing Ice Cream Machine and getting smacked by Tigersquash ice cream over and over again. Just take a look at those stars and that cute Pink Aisha, and you'll be ready to dodge ice cream all day!

If you're not playing something high stress like Ice Cream Machine, your resting heart rate may slow a bit. That means you're going to be cold! Even with your hoodie, you'll need a little bit more warmth. Your blanket options are numerous, but a Fuzzy Pink Blanket will keep your legs the right temperature. Plus, the pink matches your hoodie and the colors around you, keeping those cool vibes going!

While I know these chopsticks say they're meant to put in your hair, I suggest you grab a pair for another reason. Have you ever been eating and then need to type something to a friend or use the mouse for a game, but your hands are all covered in some orange dust from Cheese Puffs? What's the solution? Enter: Hair Chopsticks. Pickup a Cheese Puff from your bowl with these bad boys and you won't have to worry about cleaning your keyboard after each bite.

Speaking of snacks, after your Cheese Puffs and Gummy Pink Kacheek Fruit Snacks, it's time for a cookie. I recommend keeping an Office Desk Cookie Jar on your desk so you're ready for a cookie in between levels of Snowmuncher. Trust me, you’re going to need a quick break. You'll be munching right alongside Dieter the Polarchuck as you work your way toward the 5,000 point avatar goal!

The vibes can sometimes be off if you're playing something stressful, like Typing Terror. Sure, that game is quick and you have to be ready for anything that comes at you, but you also have to be lucky to get enough broken Grundos to score a high amount of points. Even when you're crushing it, the game may not be giving you what you need. Those frustrations can build, so get yourself a Desk Punchbag Bob. Pretty self explanatory, I think, if you've ever played Typing Terror.

The final recommendation I have is to get yourself a Desk Zen Garden. Cosy is best achieved while at a peaceful state (which can be achieved after using the item listed above), so you'll need to find your zen sometimes. Add some fun things to your garden like figurines and plants, and you'll feel like you're truly achieving bliss as you rake that sand between games.

Bonus: What makes you not a cosy gamer? A Half Eaten Sandwich Left on Desk. Come on.

Now that you've gathered all of these items together, you are truly ready to achieve the ultimate cosy gamer status. Find the games that make you feel best, but also try your hand at those games that are a little bit harder! When you've reached that feeling of being cosy and relaxed, even the hardest levels of Faerie Bubbles won't stand in your way. Gaming is fun, but gaming can be more fun when everything around you is, well, cosy! Now go have fun gaming, nerd.
