Top 10 Cakes with Memorable Backstories!

Every year, we gather around and celebrate another year of Neopets. From showering our pets with gifts, to throwing lavish parties that has the Pant Devil lurking from the window. We open gifts and make some noise. And we eat cake. A lot of cake. Cakes with sprinkles, cakes with gobs of frosting, cakes with edible glitter, and cakes with the fluffy insides. But have you ever wondered about the stories behind some of your favorite Neopian cakes? They make for an interesting tale or two. Let’s take a look back at some of the memorable cakes you can still find and buy today! 10. Radioactive Sloth Cake Here is a little-known fact for you. Originally called Sloth Cake, it had to be renamed after the following incident. When presented at a banquet honouring Dr. Sloth, everyone was amazed at this cake that glowed in the dark. However, when a slice was consumed, the eater would also glow-in-the-dark! After the initial panic subsided, those that glowed engaged in a game of glow-in-the-dark tag inside the Grundo Warehouse that is still remembered fondly to this day on Virtupets Space Station.
