Last week you mentioned that the site would be updated from Flash to HTML5. What does that mean for the hundreds of Flash games on the site? What about avatars that you gain from playing these games? ~ khiton
So, like I've mentioned, it's a long process so all I can tell you right now is the initial thinking - which is that games will be converted over to HTML5, so they'll still be playable and give avatars and all that jazz!

Hey there TNT! I have a terrible, terrible problem I would love for you to scoot on over and help me with. It seems the censorship of Neopia has gotten waaaaay out of hand! When normal, good Neopians cannot say 'grapes' or 'seaweed' (just to name a few) without being censored, I feel we have an issue! I know Neopets has many young players and censorship is necessary, but when you ban innocent words, you create confusion and more questions kids are going to ask their parents. Can't you help us TNT? I'm a Writer!! (please remove my username) ~ username removed
So, I totally understand, but unfortunately it's just how the filter system works. If a word is blacklisted, it is blacklisted and can't be published (even if it is just hidden in another word).

Hello TNT, Lately theres been a lot of full page ads that direct you away from neopets saying the site will resume but instead of taking you back, it leaves you on a blank page, losing the actual page you wanted to be on. Is there anyway you can get rid of those? Its really annoying to deal with. Should we report them as well? I seem to recall there being an editorial from a long time ago saying that it was ok to report bad ads but I cant remember exactly what it said. Can you please clarify? Thank you (Please remove username)
Yes, please report these! Any ad that interferes with playing of the game like that can be reported for us to look into. It's hard for us to know which ones cause problems if y'all don't tell us!

I'm glad to hear an update to the customization editor is on the to-do list. One long-standing problem that customizers have had (particularly those of us with more than 1000 items in our closets) have had is the customization program either refusing to open properly or crashing on opening. This has actually gotten better for me since JumpStart took over because now the customization editor opens reliably but without the closet loading until I switch to editing a different Neopet. Which is slightly inconvenient but not as inconvenient as having to refresh the customization page multiple times just to get the program to load. I was wondering if in future the customization program could perhaps be altered so that it doesn't try to load absolutely every item in your closet when you boot it. I feel like in general Jellyneo and Dress to Impress have better systems for Neopet customization. ~ pikakeet
Well we're glad it's gotten better! But yes making the customization editor a little less bulky and a lot more efficient will certainly be a goal in updating it to HTML5 - not simply re-writing the exact same thing in different code.

hi! I was wondering if you were going to release new dyeworks items soon as it has been months since the last time we got some new dyeworks. Thank you! ~ juli_sb
Hmmm *strokes chin* I may have heard some rumblings over in the NC department over which wintery items would look best dyed...

The Holly and the Ivy: Part One
"If you get too cold you’ll fall into torpor, and you won’t wake up ‘til Running.” “Running?! But I’ll sleep right through Giving Day!” That was all the incentive Nan needed to stay in their little cottage until the snows stopped. And that was how winter went in the little hamlet of Caxton Bank, nestled in the foothills of the Werelupe Woods. Most years, anyway.

Organic Mystery
In his single bedroom apartment, Mason, a green Hissi, stared at his computer screen with blank eyes and a blank mind. Monomers, polymers, Neomers, achiral, epoxides, esters, hydration, elimination reactions. Every word his eyes glanced over ran together, creating a gross and complex mess of words inside his head. These terms had been familiar with him days and weeks ago, but now they meant nothing.
