Which Wheel in Neopia? by kitty_kid_101 | |
NEOBOARDS - *Wheel of Monotony Waiting Room*, *I got 10,000np AND a new avatar!!!!*,
*my pet got sick from the Wheel of Mediocrity! Help me!!*, *I had all my np out
to buy an item from the hidden tower, when I spun a wheel, I lost ALL OF IT!!!*.
Is this the situation you're seeing now? Well, this is Kitty_kid_101 live, from
the Neopian Times, discussing the Wheels of Neopia. Shhhhhh! be very quiet now.
I'm going to Faerieland, where Jhudora puts helpless newbies under her spell.
Join me, if you wish, or why not read a delightful comic? The choice is YOURS!
You decided to join me! Well, shhhh! Do you see that dark purple cloud, near
Healing Springs? Do you hear the thundering, every morning you get up so early,
to beat the lines of Healing Springs? Avoid Jhudora's Cloud, and your pet's
hit points will be spared. Leaning to the right side of Faerieland at the outskirts,
a brightly colored wheel, drawing you closer and closer to see what it is. Step
up, step up, and yes you, in the back! Why not try this wheel that has an even
chance of winning a great prize... or getting you pet sick. Prefer the odds
to be even? This will definitely help you out, whether it be collecting avatars,
or getting the moolah, a magical item, or the Lava Monster. This beautiful wheel
is ready to dish out awesome (or horrible) things! Only thing is, it used to
be 100np, it has gone up, to 150np. Sorry folks!
Uh, oh! Jhudora is coming over. Let's, um, have an interview.
K: Hello there, Jhudora, um, how are you?
J: What, do you think you are doing, HERE in FAERIELAND, at 5:00 a.m. NST???
K: Writing an article, um--, with a news crew, for the WHEELS OF NEOPIA!
J: GO!
K: Um, you didn't answer my first question. Uh, if it has HAPPENED to, uh,
slip your mind; here it is (again): How are you?
J: Leave, or feel (and fear) the wrath of the most famous dark faerie of ALL
time, JHUDORA!
Okay, personally, I ask, did she wake up on the wrong side of her cloud this
morning, or did someone just didn't get her Faerie Paint Brush soon enough?
Well, I think we had better lose her in the Haunted Woods, perhaps try our luck
at the Deserted Fair Grounds!
You know, this place is SUPPOSED to be deserted, but all I find, are people
here! Like for example: the mynci, for test your strength, Sidney from the Scratchcard
Kiosk. How could it be deserted? Anyway, let's talk with Sidney; he might know
a thing or two about the wheel we're after.
K: Hello, Mr. Sidney sir? Do you know anything about the Wheel of Misfortune??
S: Pleasse. Call me Sssidney. What do you want to know about the Wheel of Misssfortune?
Pleasse, buy a sscratchcard and leave me in peace.
K: Ok, Sssidney. What do you get in the Wheel of Misfortune? Fine, I'll buy
a scratchcard. How much?
S: Oh, why don't you find out for yoursself? They cost 1,200 np, pleasse. You
know, you aren't guaranteed to win, sso buy at your own rissk.
K: Ok, I'll try it. Here, I hope this is the right amount.
S: Thank you very much. Come again sssoon.
Ghosts, I really don't believe in them. The Ghost Lupe is just a painted Lupe.
The Wheel of Misfortune is a horrible thing, the name says it all. The thing
is you could have - np, + np, the Pant Devil, pox, or books. No one runs it
all you have to do is pull a skull lever. The Deserted Fairgrounds is not a
place for newbies, too many wander near, and don’t return, so whatever you do,
never spin this wheel!
Ooooo! Look at that green place, near Terror Mountain! This place, *sniff*,
*sniff* smells like dung?? Oh! Look! There is a wheel already... in a JUNGLE?!?!?
It's down a large crack, in the middle of a jungle; it's the WHEEL OF MEDIOCRITY!!
A Tyrannian Flotsam greets you dully. Roll, roll, up ladies and gentlemen, only
50np a spin. All you can win are, well, horribly horrid choices. Like for example:
fire balls, or 100np. A stone wheel to, um, not play, if you won't good things
to happen, the jackpot is only a 1,000np, and the least is 10! Trouble locating
this boring old wheel? No problem! Go to "Explore", on the map, click Tyrannia.
Welcome to Tyrannia! You are now at the jungle. There you are. No problem! Oh,
look at this! The Flotsam decides to talk to me!
F: Hello, roll up; roll up Ladies and Gentlemen.... Only 50np a spin...
K: What else do you say? Do you stay here all day?
F: Hello, roll up; roll up Ladies and Gentlemen.... Only 50np a spin...
K: Do you say anything else?
F: Hello, roll up; roll up Ladies and Gentlemen.... Only 50np a spin...
K: Um --- let's just take our business elsewhere.
*Looks at Watch* 9:59NST. Wow. I've been here for 10 hours and I am still waiting.
This wheel is none other than the Wheel of Monotony. Greeted by a Tyrannian
Quiggle, he yawns and tells you it's going to take a while. Instead of making
a cup of hot dung (I've tried it, and let me tell you, it isn't very pleasant)
why don't you open a new browser and go to the chat boards (if you are old enough
or have parental permission) to wait, in a "Wheel of Monotony Waiting Room".
They are quite pleasant. Well, let's meet the quiggle-guy.
K: Mr. Quiggle-guy? Hello? Is the wheel broken or something? I've been waiting
for 10 hours.
M.Q.: Nope. The wheel is not broken. TNT has made this wheel the way it is.
The Wheel of Monotony is a time consuming wheel.
K: OH look! The wheel has stopped. Can I collect my prize?
M.Q.: Yes.
K: Aw! The Lair of the Beas- ahhhhh! Run!
Phew, that was a little nerve racking, I really don't like Tyrannia, it's like
going back in time, and I don't really want to. I think I'll go back to the
Neopian Times Headquarters,
Now, on the recent study on wheels, I think, it might be possible that the
next wheel will be on Terror Mountain, due to the fact that there has been two
Tyrannian wheels, one Faerieland wheel, and one Haunted Woods wheel. I hope
you learn to love the wheels, and spin them everyday!
Well, now that you've met, the Wheels of Neopia, why don't YOU spin? Altogether,
spinning all the wheels costs, um, 50, plus 100, plus another 100, and plus
150, equals 400! Only 400np a day, meanwhile the Wheel of Excitement holds the
chance of winning 10,000np. The Wheel of Monotony gives you the chance of getting
a Mazzew to sell for a lot, the Wheel of Mediocrity will give you the, at the
most, 1,000np, and the wheel of Misfortune may take away all of your neopoints!
So whether you play one, two, three, or all four wheels, you'll know all good
things, bad things, and to never strike up a conversation with the Wheel of
Mediocrity Flotsam!
Author's Note: This was created in fun, I have no knowledge whatsoever if
there will be a new wheel, or where it may be. These interviews aren't real
at all, created all for fun. This is my first article to get printed (or at
least acknowledged) so I hope you have enjoyed it so much, you are inspired
to write (or type) your own. Thank you, and may you win 10,000 np on the Wheel
of Excitement!
