For Better or Worse: Part Three

The girls exchanged the diamond for a whopping 25,000 Neopoints. They worked on their tans, and sipped coconut milk. They enjoyed the time they spent there, and decided that they would buy the house in Faerieland, and work there, using Lanei's job coupon, which was a gold one. So the girls continued on to Faerieland.

Halfway up they stopped at a diner called "Cloud Number Nine". They were using the rest of Sevania's allowance to buy food. A familiar Shoyru sat in the booth behind the girls, it was Jaira!

"JAIRA!" Sevania cried.

She was happy to see Jaira, for living in the adoption center and Cockroach Towers had made her very unspoiled. Jaira turned and looked at her. She looked very different in a business suit and earrings, than in maid clothes.

"Oh, it's you." Jaira didn't even smile her old way whenever someone greeted her.

"How are you?" Sevania asked.

"Very successful and rich," Jaira replied flatly. "Now if you excuse me! I'M TALKING TO A CLIENT!" Jaira yelled, and went back to talking with her client.

It was a smack in the face to Sevania. Quietly, sweet Jaira, turned into a rich MONSTER. Not all rich people were snobby mind you, but she was turning into....... her. It was hard to admit, but Jaira was turning into a living-breathing Sevania. Sevania blinked back tears and focused on her milkshake, which the waitress had brought her.

After they finished, they got up and continued on their way. Hopefully things would be better once they got on their feet.

When they arrived in Faerieland, they immediately went to the "Wheel of Excitement". They each won 10,000 Neopoints at it! "YES! NOW WE'RE RICH ENOUGH TO BUILD OUR HOUSE IN FAERIELAND!" Lanei exclaimed. They then went to the Employment Agency and bought a bookstore.

"Whoo hoo! We're on a roll!" Sevania cheered.

The next day, Lanei set off for the bookstore and Sevania created and stocked a shop. It was Saturday, which meant students from Faerieland School would come in and shop. The first customers to walk in were Keeri, Tia , Jessika and Averry! When Averry saw Sevania he immediately turned to leave the store.

"WAIT AVERRY!" Sevania called. Averry turned, and listened to Sevania. "Come here please!" Sevania said.

Averry was dumbfounded. Sevania wasn't acted like a spoiled brat? SEVANIA? This COULDN'T be! Averry rubbed his eyes, then walked up to Sevania.

"Yeah whaddaya want?" he growled.

"I've changed, Averry please forgive me! Please come back around 5:00 when I close my store." Sevania's eyes were filled with care.

"All right I will!" Averry said. He grabbed an item off the shelf and managed to push through Tia, Keeri and Jessika, who were hounding Sevania with questions. Sevania explained the whole story, and the girls listened, interested in Sevania and Lanei's adventures.

Soon the visit ended, and the girls had to leave. Sevania had sold out of items, since many customers had come into her shop.

At 5:00 on the dot, Sevania took out the turkey dinners which she had saved from the stock. Averry knocked on the door and Sevania let him in. Averry and Sevania talked for awhile, when Averry's owner called and asked him to come home.

When Lanei came home with 5,000 NP, Sevania was overjoyed. She too, had made 5,000 Neopoints. They then went and applied for land.

The next day, since the book shop and shop were closed on Sundays, the girls walked down to their homestead and got the builders to build a room out of marble. They would move into the room that night.

Averry came knocking on the door of the shop, and Sevania let him in. Lanei was shopping for things to stock the shop with, so they were all alone.

"Sevania, I've been thinking long and hard about this," Averry said to her. "I want to get married," he gulped.

Sevania's eyes filled with tears. "Oh all right, I figured we'd grown apart in those 3 weeks we hadn't seen each other." She turned her head away in deep despair.

"No Sevania, you don't understand! I want to marry you!" he looked deep in her eyes. "We've known each other for a long time and have been through a lot," he finished and whipped out a diamond ring.

All of a sudden the room whirled around her and Sevania felt as if she was floating. "Yes I will!" she said, happy tears coming to her eyes.

They hugged briefly, because Sevania was so caught up in the moment. She was 123 days old, old enough to get married. Averry left, and Sevania went to tell Carissa, but then she remembered, Carissa wasn't here. Sevania cried hard, trapped in her memories. When all of a sudden, a sharp tapping came from the shop door. It was Carissa, Laeni, Cairah and Aeveri! Sevania was overwhelmed with joy. Carissa was back! Carissa told her about how she'd gotten her riches back by playing the "Wheel of Excitement" which was very generous. When Sevania told Carissa the news, Carissa wasn't surprised.

"I've known for AGES that you guys would get married!" Carissa said, her eyes filling with tears. "But I didn't know you would so soon!" Carissa gave her a big hug, and the Carissa took her to their old house, which Carissa had bought back. Lanei was going to be adopted by Carissa and Sevania and Averry would move into the house Lanei and she had started building.

The wedding day was sunny and beautiful. Tia, Keeri, Cairah, Lanei, Aeveri and Jessika sat in the front row.

Sevania's dress was gorgeous. It had a long train and beautiful veil.

The first notes of "Here Comes the Bride" were sounding, and Carissa and Sevania began the long walk down the aisle. The wedding was held in Carissa's house's back yard. When the vows were done being said Averry kissed Sevania, and everybody clapped. They knew that Sevania and Averry were perfect for each other.

As Averry carried Sevania down the street to their newly finished house and thought, I'm lucky to have Sevania, she could not be here right now if she hadn't ran away from Cockroach Towers. He smiled as he unlocked the door and took his new wife in the house.

"MOMMY!" Sevania's child, Adreea called. "AVERRY IS TEASING ME!" Sevania had named her son after his father. Averry and Sevania had a beautiful Faerie Aisha and a handsome Cybunny. Adreea jumped up to her mother's lap. She fluttered her wings at Averry, annoyed. "When's the baby coming???" the cute little Faerie Aisha asked. "Soon my little Faerie, soon!" Sevania smiled.

A couple of days later, Sevania had two more babies. They were twins, but weren't identical. Cristen was a Faerie Aisha and Cris was a Cybunny.

Adreea, Averry, Cristen and Cris soon grew up and had children of their own. Now Sevania likes to take her grandchildren on her lap and tell them the story of when Neopia was still fairly new.
