The first thing that went through Locke's mind when he saw the blur passing
him, going toward Faerieland, was that it looked familiar. He stared after
it and realized it was Galadrial. He was almost to the ground too. All
that time wasted. He dropped his stuff and Chaos ("OWW!") on the ground
and flew up after her. He wouldn't miss her. He would reach her... Galadrial
landed with ease on the clouds outside her school. She smirked as the
jaws of her jealous peers dropped. She noticed a van with the words "Neopian
Times" on the side. Perfect, she thought, now I can get
back at them for their lies with the truth.
She walked up to the leader of the Snobbettes, who Gala had dubbed,
Snob 1. Snob 1 soon recovered. She smirked at Gala. "Aww look, the renegade
boyfriend stealer is back. What do you want?"
Gala: "I want you to tell the truth."
Snob 1 smirked again: "You know the truth. No one will believe you, though."
Gala returned the smirk: "Think so?" She took out a potion Kauvara had
given her, labeled "Truth Serum". The Neopian Times reporter grinned.
She knew a story and a real Truth Serum when she saw one. She got each
Snob and Jerk to drink a drop, and soon their real personalities were
unearthed.
Snobbettes: "We are all totally jealous of Galadrial. She is gorgeous.
She has a boyfriend who has always rejected us. She has always disliked
us, and we want to be her best friend. She fits in better than us."
Jerks: "We all have huge crushes on Galadrial. We're jealous of her boyfriend.
She fits in better than us."
Gala smirked as the truth serum wore off and the Snobbettes and Jerks
looked stunned at what they said. Gala watched the reporter write the
new story. Out of the corner of her eye, Gala saw Locke land on the cloud.
Exit stage right, Gala thought, and she flew back down to Neopia.

Locke watched Gala zoom off the cloud, back toward Neopia. Not again,
he thought. He spread his wings and effortlessly started gliding toward
Neopia. Soon he landed and found Chaos guarding all his stuff. He walked
over to Chaos and scratched him behind the ears, his Fave spot. Chaos
started purring.
After a few minutes, Locke gets up and grabs his backpack, and Chaos
does likewise. They walk around a bit and soon see the caravan Locke had
seen in the map. Unfortunately, it's leaving, fast. Hmmm, Locke thinks,
and gets out a spark balloon. He throws it at a wheel and, with pleasure,
watches the caravan bumpily stop. He estimates the distance he is from
the carts as 5 miles. Locke sighs and tries to fly, only to find his wings
are too tired. He walks toward the carts, hoping it takes them a long
time to fix whatever he broke... Gala jumps as she hears a loud crack
under the caravan in front of her. Realizing its Demona's cart, she grabs
her phone, and quickly calls the number on the pad.
Mo: "Hello?"
Gala: "I think something broke under your cart. I heard this loud crack.
We better stop!"
MO: "OK, one sec."
Gala hears a click on the other end as MO hangs up. She hopes the cart
stops before any real damage is done to the Dark Faerie. She feels her
cart bounce a bit as the caravan comes to a rest. Once Gala is sure the
carts have all stopped, she jumps out of her own. Kala and Flamechi follow,
having heard the crack too.
She sees the Renegade Faerie already looking under the cart. Kala runs
up and asks, "Is MO OK? What's wrong with her cart?"
Ren replies, "MO is fine, broken axle. It'll take at least a day to fix,
maybe more if there is damage to anything else.
Suddenly Flamechi yells, "Look, someone is coming!" Gala stared out.
The person looked familiar...
Locke suddenly saw everyone who had come out of the caravan staring
toward him. He felt conspicuous. He only had about half a mile left. Suddenly
Chaos ran as fast as he could toward the caravan, seeing a blue pet and
a red pet huddling around a girl. Locke suddenly realized it was Galadrial,
Flamechi, and Kala. He started running as fast as he could toward them.
He could only think of seeing Gala and telling her the article in the
Neopian Times was all mush, and how he didn't care if she wasn't all Faerie.
He saw recognition come into her eyes. He ran harder than ever, and was
almost face to face with Gala...
Gala realized who it was as he ran with his pet running with him. Locke
had followed her, and brought Chaos. She looked at her pets and saw them
realizing who it was too. Kala ran toward Chaos and they started talking
about everything that happened. Suddenly Locke was face to face with her.
She hugged him as hard as she could and kissed him.
"Hey!" Gala grins, "You busted our axle with a spark balloon."
"Heh," Locke laughs sheepishly and she hugs him again.
Soon Gala and Locke were inside Gala's cart, talking about everything
that had happened. Gala apologized for running away from Locke, and they
promised to talk to each other before deciding things in their relationship.
Kala and Chaos snuggled on Kala's bunk bed while Flamechi told Chaos about
wandering through the forest. In the night Gala lent Locke a tent and
let Chaos sleep in the caravan.
The next day, Ren had fixed the axle and they set out for the marketplace.
When they arrived, Gala found a house, and Locke found one next door.
Gala and Locke set about furnishing their homes. The Wandering Outcasts,
knowing they'd have to leave soon, quickly taught Gala how to completely
master her vast powers. Then they said good-bye to the happy couple and
promised they'd swing by every once in a while. So finally, Galadrial
fit in perfectly, and was completely happy, helping pets and owners in
Neopia with her strong powers.
The End, almost: Gala became a rich owner by winning at hundreds of games
and later got married to Locke, also a great game player. The Snobbettes
and Jerks were kicked out of Faerieland and became broke. The Wandering
Outcasts became a world famous band (Renegade was lead singer, Aqua played
lead guitar, Demona played bass guitar, Daisy played drums, Drop played
keyboards, and Renegade's pets sang harmony in the background). Kala and
Chaos got married and had a green cub which they named Trouble. Flamechi
excelled at Kacheek Seek and no one could ever find him, until he met
Pyra, a blue Shoyru, who easily found him, and they became a couple. Everyone
got what they deserved ... oh yeah, and Galadrial became the new Faerie
Queen when her mother stepped down, so now different faeries aren't treated
as outcasts anymore.
The End (for real)
