Obelisks: The mystery behind them

I have been reading the Obelisk articles in the Neopian Times lately so I decided to search for answers. A few days ago in the New Features page it said they were going to make a new world. Could the world be The Lost City of Floatlantis? Would there be a new Obelisk? A while ago there was a poll that wondered what world should they make. And one of the ideas was a Sunken City. So I found out the Lost City of Floatlantis could be the new world.

From previous articles I discovered that there might be a Obelisk down there keeping Faerieland magic. The new world would probably be in the most Northwest part of Neopia or the most Southeast part of Neopia. If all of this is not true it could be in Mystery Island. Tiki Taku was a great warrior so maybe he destroyed the Obelisk. Or maybe like on the last article it said there was a hill that was maybe artificial. It could be under that. The hill is right by the Training School and that makes sense.

Strength, Faith and Wisdom... those words sound right when you talk about the Training School. And just think of the name Mystery Island. Maybe it is there somewhere cause the word Mystery is in the name Mystery Island. Maybe at the beginning of time Mystery Island was named what it is because of the Obelisk Mystery. But one thing that wouldn't make since is that we did not have a battle like Tyrannia and the Lost Desert.... Maybe Tiki Taku had the big battle before us. But why didn't someone else fight for the Lost Desert and Tyrannia?

So it would make since for the Obelisk to be in The Lost City of Floatlantis which might be the new world NeoPets have been talking about lately. Maybe the Lost Desert battles and the Tyrannia battles are just practices for our fate. The evil would be very tough that all the pets would have to work together to beat him. I took out a piece of Tracing Paper and put a dot at Lost Desert and a dot on Tyrannia. The Obelisk should be either in Mystery Island or above Haunted Woods. Maybe The Lost City of Floatlantis is above Haunted Woods. Only time will tell. If you have any info about Obelisks then Neomail me. Remember Pillars are placed throughout the land. When Strength, Wisdom and Faith are joined in the Triangle of Destiny, a terror from the deep will rise, and Neopia will choose it's fate. Maybe the evil will rise from The Lost City of Floatlantis? Maybe not? Well I have to go and write more articles about Obelisks and find out more info about them.

Obelisk Theories

I have read articles about Obelisk and I have thought of another theory. If you missed articles before that related to Obelisks click here.

Some theories say that Mystery Island has the Pillar of Wisdom. Of course it makes a perfect sense. The Techo Master! Some theories say that Techo Master is evil or works for evil and he needs the Codestones to complete his quest. If the pillar was somewhere in Mystery Island that was related to Wisdom, it had to be the Training School. I read many articles relating to Mystery Island and the there was nothing fishy....

I would say that my second theory seems right. Those theories were theories that people thought BACK THEN. What do I mean by BACK THEN? Well back then some articles were written before Lost Desert was introduced...... Of course it seemed strange but when Lost Desert was introduced and there were more clues on what these strange pillars were, new theories were written which made more sense. According to my theory the new world (?) that will be released soon has the Pillar of Wisdom. The reason I know that there will be a new world is because on the news the NeoPets Team said that they are working on a plot for a new world. I think that the New World (?) will be placed exactly 60 degrees from Lost Desert and Terror Mountain (Tyrannia is below Terror Mountain). You might be thinking why it could be in the new world? I think that the pillar is in the new world and until that new world is introduced none of these theories are 100% correct.

Another Obelisk Theory

One fine day I was walking through the Lost Desert when the "Obelisk Theories" article popped into my mind. I began to wonder. What about King Coltzan, was he really in on it? I decided to do some research.

I agree with Flutterbudget. King Coltzan may have been in on this. Here is what I found on the trading card King Coltzan 'A brave and noble warrior, King Coltzan had focused his entire reign on expanding and enriching his empire.'

I took a boat over to Mystery Island. I looked around and went into the Training School. I asked the Techo Master for some advice, not really telling him the details of my trip here, and he said:

"The Techo Master says: 'The superior man acts before he speaks, and afterwards speaks according to his action.'" This may be something to be weary of, I thought, I mean he has not rebelled after the article about him trying to put the Obelisk back together. Also, he does make you pay with Codestones.

I took a raft over to the Tyrannian Jungle. When I finally reached the Obelisk the sun was setting. In the few rays of light there where left I could just make out a Chia. He was writing something. Rumours were that it was a new game. Maybe, just maybe, this Chia was some how involved in this Obelisk ordeal. Maybe there was something in it for him, like his game was advertised, or maybe it will be made into a game if he helps. I just don't know.

I went into my NeoHome and spent the night in the kitchen thinking. I don't know who's behind this. All I know is I am not putting my pets in Training School until this is solved. Be careful all NeoPet owners, don't let them run lose in any of the worlds with Obelisks. You don't know, they just might not come back.

Rise from the Deep

I didn't generally read the Neopian Times that often, particularly when I couldn't read and I was just a helpless little Kacheek. But now my Mum, hannahlucylongman, has given me plenty of books to read, and I am a big, healthy, Poogle, I read the Neopian Times every week.

Anyway, the most recent article I read was about the Obelisks. There were many different theories as to where the last Obelisk is and what will happen when it is discovered. After digesting these four theories, I have come up with one of my own. However, for it to be true, I have had to presume and guess quite a lot.

Firstly, I will summarise what is going on for anyone who does not know. There is a legend that three pillars were placed throughout Neopia. One is the pillar of Strength (found in Tyrannia), the second is the pillar of Faith (recently discovered in the Lost Desert), the third is the pillar of Wisdom (location unknown). When these pillars are joined in the Triangle of Destiny, "a terror from the deep will rise, and Neopia shall choose it's fate".

In the article I read, another previous article was mentioned, about Floatlantis, a hidden Flotsam Kingdom. This was a Kingdom which floated on the sea but Faerieland took away it's magic to keep Faerieland afloat. Faerieland is now meant to be thousands of miles away from Floatlantis.

Many people believe that the third Obelisk is hidden on Mystery Island, the article I read by alantrae had some really good arguements as to where the Obelisk should be.

So, now for my theory, I believe that the third Obelisk is on Mystery Island. I also believe that Faerieland is NOT thousands of miles away from Floatlantis. The story of Floatlantis was passed on by word of mouth - like a game of Chinese Whispers - some people forget, or didn't hear properly, so make something up to fill the gaps. Now, if you were to join up Mystery Island, Tyrannia, and the Lost Desert, you would find that Faerieland is right in the middle of the triangle. Faerieland is meant to be right above Neopia Central but, just supposing it is above the coast of Neopia Central (you can get a boat from Mystery Island to there), it could be above the lost Kingdom of Floatlantis, as well.

Supposing Floatlantis is in the centre of the triangle of destiny, and the natives living down there have been brewing for many years, when the third Obelisk is discovered, it is perfectly logical the at the inhabitants will "rise from the deep" and try to reclaim the magic which is rightfully theirs.

Obelisks: The Destruction of Neopia

As we have known, there have been two sightings of Obelisks, in Tyrannia and in the Lost Desert, and please note, both were sights of great war, and the Tyrannian Obelisks is of strength and the Lost Desert by faith, please note, Tyrannian was found by an earthquake, which needs a lot of power to make an earthquake. And the Lost Desert was found by Brucey B, hoping to find his lucky coin, in which he BELIEVED (is case you couldn’t tell by know, strength was needed to find the Obelisks of strength, and faith was needed to find the Obelisks of faith) and he found it!

As I write this, I study the map of the different worlds, and as an earlier article mentioned, there could only be two places for the last Obelisks, Mystery Island, and north of haunted woods. Please recall that when Sloth came with the ray gun to turn our pets to evil demented creatures, and the island mystic helped us, while we gave him Codestones, that solved the puzzle, and Codestones, are a puzzle themselves, because we don’t know what they do, and for some reason, the training school wants them badly, I believe that Codestones will bring the last Obelisks to life, and the monster will start a great world war!

As I study the map, an idea sets in, I remember an article saying Faerie land is heading north, and if I am right, it is going to head through right smack dab in the middle of the triangle, my theory is that Faerie land will cover the horrid beast as it comes from the bottom of the ocean, it would be unnoticed because of Faerie, and why does the training school want Codestones so badly? I think the Codestones are the key to the puzzle, and notice, the training school leader did not help the rest of Neopia, while in great need of his strength, wisdom, and his talents in general, I think that he is part of an evil triangle, with sloth, and the evil Tyrannian leader, while controlling the Codestones, he could use them to control the monster, controlling wisdom, and the other two could control the strength and faith, I’m not saying to stop going to the training school, just keep your strength up, become strong, and be prepared of the upcoming Neopocalypse.

New Breakthrough on Obelisk?

I am really confused with Obelisks. Why? Well, I have seen the third one, mentioned in other articles about these devices of stone. And I'm not surprised that it has gone somewhere else... possibly Faerieland. What do I mean? Well, I was a Grundo during this time, when I just got my new Koi brother and Chesterpot the Acara was missing. I was in Maraqua, and as I floated around in the Water Taxi, my driver fainted. I was soooo scared, that I grabbed the wheel. Then again, I had horrible IQ during the time, and found myself at Skull Mountain. What is Skull Mountain? Clicking here will show you it.

Well, I got out of the taxi, and saw a strange shaped figure. It said, in fine print: Wisdom. Why was Wisdom on Skull Mountain? I dunno. But what I do know is that it has gone somewhere else. How? Next part of my story would say that last November I showed it to splashgold, my Koi pal, during our vacation to Maraqua. Well, we saw it still, but a Techo, who looked like the Techo Master...but it wasn't...it was none other then Dr_Death, leader of the adoption agency! He saw me and ran, while from a tree when a bearded Techo jumped down and grabbed Dr_Death. I assume that was the Techo Master. I turned around, and two more Techos were behind me. The first was from Techo Safari, the second was the Mystery Isle Food Shopkeeper. They told me that their cousins (Dr_Death and the Techo Master related? Well, they both look older then they are.) needed something called W-1-S-D-0-M. I then spelled that out, except I then figured out something else. Wisdom! It meant wisdom! The 4 of us went to the Obelisk, but it was too late. The Techo Master had raised it with a magical Codestone, and Dr_Death helped him board it. It flew into the clouds, when later the two Techos fell from the sky and ran back home. So I know it is somewhere else, but where?

After the Battledome opened to the public, Faerieland opened a week later. My Gelert pal, egold, found himself in the Hidden Tower. When I got in there myself I noticed a painting moved. I touched the painting, and found myself in a room full of riches. There was gold everywhere! I looked back, and a black wand with a green fact on top glared at me. I then mysteriously went back to the tower. The Faerie Queen tried going through the painting, but she couldn't fit. And to this day, no one else has.

When Dr. Sloth found the same wand in the Lost Desert, I gasped. How did it get there? Well, I figured, how did Dr. Sloth know about it? As you may or may not remember, Dr. Sloth was also on Skull Mountain in October, abducting Chesterpot. So this is my theory: THE HIDDEN TOWER IS THE THIRD Obelisk! It had connections to Sakhmet, where the other Obelisk is. The Hidden Tower also has unbelievable powerful weapons, so that is where Sloth's Wand came from. Dr. Sloth knew about Sakhmet because he found himself there before. So how do we activate the Hidden Tower, if it is the third Obelisk?

Thank you for your time.

Note: Spacegold's theory may seem strange, but I've seen Spacegold have a hunch for these things. Spacegold has told me about lots of stuff, like Genius Neggs were to be released late, and that Tombola would still continue.
