Give Them A Chance by 777___
--------
In the corner of Usukiland, you might find buried within the pile of stuff: A different one called a Reject. When examined in your hand, there’s a broken eye, an odd amount of fluff: It appears this one isn’t correct.
But with all odds, how did this get made? Was it simply the maker’s error? Or did good motives fade, and was it modified for terror? With all the questions it makes you ponder, how could a Usuki end up as such an odd wonder?
One Usuki has lost its magical hair, the other one’s rollerblade went possibly nowhere, one with a dress that it suddenly bears, and a spinoff of that which wears a space helmet for air, and one that lost a game would rather sit in a chair. Each of these unusual differences makes the rejects feel quite rare.
You could talk to someone to try to make your reject normal, or go to the Auction House and allow it to sell, or you can be quite formal and make up a new story for you to tell. But is there really such a need? To fulfil some sort of perfection that it has to feel? Or maybe from a curse it feels like it’s being freed? But there might be a truth that’s certainly real:
Those Usukis can still cook. They can still roam and skip. Put in the same effort, and you can even let them dance. So consider that the next bit of knowledge doesn’t really come from a book: Next time you go to Usukiland on a trip, have some kindness and give them a chance.
