How the Quiguki Came to Be

“Your skin’s too green, you won’t suit any clothes! Your eyes are too big, and you haven’t got a nose! Your body’s too big, and your hands and feet too You’re not Usuki material, there’s nothing you can do!”

But Elysa wouldn’t let anybody stand in her way She would turn herself into an Usuki someday Who says only Usuls could become an Usuki, after all? Quiggles could be just as great at being a doll!

She worked on her hair; she worked on her grace She always made sure to have a smile on her face She confidently wore every shirt and shoe and dress And lived day to day with style and finesse

Besides that, Elysa always chose to be soft and sweet If people were nicer to each other, wouldn’t that be neat? Why are Neopians always tearing each other down When there’s plenty of love to go around?

But even with all this, people were stubborn still Elysa would never be an Usuki; they’d stand on that hill She doesn’t look the part, her great personality can’t fix That Quiggles and Usukis just do not mix

Then one day, on a street, Elysa was walking by When she suddenly heard a loud and pitiful cry A Water Faerie was sobbing, face wet with tears And Elysa rushed over to give her some cheer

“Hush, darling, what’s got you sad and blue? Is there anything at all I can do for you? If there’s nothing I can do that shall help you mend, At least I can stay here and be your friend.”

The Water Faerie smiled at Elysa, a grateful look in her eyes “In all my years, I’ve never met anyone so nice! You made me feel better when I was feeling low, So I shall reward you with a dip in my fountain of rainbow.”

And that was how Elysa finally achieved her dream Quiggles could become Usukis, so it would seem! This was how the iconic Quiguki came to be Becoming an important life lesson for you and me
