An Aisha's Night Terror by chevvy22
--------
She chased her sneaky,
one-eyed Meowclops,
Who sprinted fast without any stops.
It left her standing at the forest's dark edge,
Chasing a shadow that slipped through the hedge.
The Aisha hesitated,
gripping her collar tight,
Peering into the shadows of the growing night.
She feebly shouted her Meowclops' name,
Realizing her cries were completely in vain.
The gnarled old branches blocked out the sky,
As phantom-like shadows went swirling right by.
The forest around her was heavy with gloom,
As she desperately wished she was back in her room.
An Aisha strolled past the old border stone,
And entered the dark,
Haunted Woods all alone.
Her four ears twitched in a sudden fright,
At the eerie sounds of this terrible night.
Deep in the fog stood the mighty Brain Tree,
With pulsing pink veins that were creepy to see.
A pair of bright eyes blinked down by its roots,
As the Aisha stood frozen,
shaking in her boots.
Out from the dirt crawled a pale Ghost Meepit,
Guarding a secret and wanting to keep it
It glared at the Aisha and grinned a wretched smile,
Showing sharp teeth that were wicked and vile.
Her four long ears swivelled high in the air,
Catching a breeze that was shifting right there.
It whispered a path through the gnarled old trees,
And guided her home on the cool,
gentle breeze.
With a sudden gasp and a terrified shake,
The Aisha sat up,
completely awake.
She looked to her bed where the blankets were deep,
To find her Meowclops was soundly asleep.
