Shoyru Sister

     My Shoyru sister is always the best

     She can handle any challenge or trial

     and still stand out from rest

     She’s older and smarter, stronger too

     She makes me laugh and smile

     She always with me through and through

     She’s not old but she’s been here for awhile

     My Shoyru sister is my best friend

     We will stand together always

     Laughing and flying until the end

     Enjoying whatever fun fills our days

     First we met at the pound

     She was abandoned there

     When we met our lives turned around

     We made a promise to always care

     It’s been years now since then

     My Shoyru sister is still the best

     She will always be my dearest friend

     Diana you stand out above the rest

     I will write lines and lines of poetry

     Maybe one day make some art

     Even though no one may see

     And I don’t even know where to start

     We have so many years to go

     You are always in my eyes an A-lister

     Even when I forget you though

     I wish technology let me see you more

     Twenty years with so much changing

     Using it with little updates is a chore

     With something always needing rearranging

     My Shoyru sister Diana, of the hunt

     You love the thrill of skys and sun

     and always tell the truth no matter how blunt

     I hope we have many more years of fun
