Motes, motes, they float our boats! That's what I always say, at least. Have you seen any cute or interesting motes while out and about in Neopia? Taken a trip to the Brightvale Motery to buy some for yourself? Equipped one to your Battledome Pet? With almost forty different kinds of motes, there's one out there for everyone! Through this article, you can finally get an inside look into which mote best represents you. Ten motes are highlighted below, so let's jump right in and make the mote-st of our time together!  1. Water Mote Starting off our list is the classic and iconic Water Mote! This mote represents those that are easy-going and able to go with the flow. If you've ever found yourself uttering something like "I have no idea when the plot is coming back, but it'll happen when it happens!" or "Oh, another Snowager ROOOAAAARR with no avatar? No biggie at all, I'll try again tomorrow!", then the Water Mote might be the one for you! You're just happy to be here and be involved, with a keen ability to adapt to change.  2. Fire Mote
Up next we have the foil of the Water Mote: the Fire Mote. This mote represents those that are passionate, spontaneous, or natural leaders. If you're the type of person that loves to make risky bets for a high payoff in Food Club, if you sometimes can't help getting into an argument on the Neoboards (because your opinion is definitely the correct one), or if you lead a guild, you might just be a Fire Mote type!  3. Gold Mote Next we have the Gold Mote. Shiny. Evoking a certain air of victory. This mote is for those that like the finer things in life and for those that like to win. If your trophy cabinet is filled to the brim or if you have a Pet in the Gourmet Club or Booktastic Book Club, look no further than the Gold Mote! When it comes to you, it's only seen as overachieving if you didn't already have your expectations set that high to begin with. If you set your sights on something, you will make it happen one way or another. For you, it's not a question of if, but when. You're always going for gold.  4. Neopian Mote If you love to show your pride and adoration for all things Neopia, then you might be a Neopian Mote type. This mote represents the most steadfast and loyal Neopians out there. Putting your all into supporting your team for every Altador Cup? A given. Reading up on Neopets lore in your spare time? Duh. Picking dailies from each land so you make sure you appreciate each one? Of course! A hiatus? What's that? You only know how to eat, sleep, and breathe all things Neopets, and you wouldn't have it any other way!  5. Dee Mote The Dee Mote is for all the Neopians out there that are in their sad era. You feel a kinship with the Discarded Magical Blue Grundo Plushie of Prosperity. Neopia turning grey is really just a representation of how you feel on the inside. You're honestly not sure how you even found the motivation to read this article in the first place. When you're feeling lonely, this mote can wallow with you as your company.  6. Ee Mote Next we have the Ee Mote, which is for those Neopians that feel like they peaked during the Neopets era of glowing fonts, rawr XD, and roflcopter. Ee Mote types were beyond thrilled to see Vira make a comeback in The Void Within plot. Whether you resonate with this mote because of the nostalgia, the emo hairstyle, or the (not pictured, but definitely there in spirit) striped finger-less gloves, you know that no one could ever truly understand you other than this mote!  7. Chainmail Mote The Chainmail Mote is for the history and battle lovers of Neopia. The Neopedia and Battlepedia are your bedtime stories, and you love to get lost reading the lore. Maybe the Battle for Meridell, the Curse of Maraqua, or the Lost Desert plots greatly shaped your love of the site. You probably also have a high HSD battle pet, so you're prepared for any battle or plot that comes your way!  8. Weewoo Mote Next up is the Weewoo Mote. This mote is the mascot for the creative types. You won't let anyone ruffle your feathers when you're on a creative mission, whether that be preparing a piece for the Neopian Times, Poetry Contest, Storytelling Competition, Art Gallery, or any other creative endeavours. You have something to express and you've just got to get it out! The likelihood that you have a portfolio Petpage or an art Petpage is very high. We "woo!" in support of your creativity!  9. Night Mote The Night Mote is here to represent the children of darkness, lovers of moonlight. If you are the type to forgo sleep to stay up all night playing Neopets, this mote is for you! Staying up until trophy reset? A nighttime visit to the Snowager? These are child's play to you, since you're already awake and online. It's very likely that you use a site theme with dark colors so you can play on dark mote... I mean mode.
 10. Jelly Mote
Finally, we finish our list with the whimsical and fun Jelly Mote! This mote represents chaos, energy, and mystery. Is the jelly for eating? For bouncing? For some other mysterious purpose? Just like this mote, you pride yourself on being multifaceted and never letting people see your next move coming. And is there a world these Jelly Motes hail from, you ask? Why yes, right from Brightvale's own Motery kitchen! What else were you thinking of?
