Neopian Alphabet Guide: Kauvara

The story starts when I visit the Magic Shop in the Neopian high street. It isn’t very crowded, nothing is in stock. No one is manning the front counter, so I work my way into a different door and I see Kauvara working on a new potion. After having a short talk, and asking if I could do a biography on her, she told me to knock myself out! And I did… *rubs bump* Ouch…

So now I guess you are wondering what kind of biography this is, huh? Well, lets say it starts with an A, and ends in a Z. Still nothing? An alphabet guide of course! Starting with the beginning and down to the letter Z, I welcome you to the Neopian Alphabet Guide!

A is for Allita
Kauvara’s wonderful and oh so beautiful sister. Allita isn’t a magician like Kauvara, but actually has a job at the Neopian Bank. Being the loving sister that she is though, she’ll watch Kauvara’s shop when she’s away.

B is for Battledome
Yes, that’s right. If you lost out to a morphing potion in the Magic Shop, you can take your anger out on this Kau. This is her description:

Her difficulty is 70 and she can be found in the Neopia Central Battledome. After talking to a Tuskaninny, he says that if not trained up to it, Kauvara can be very difficult. Challenge her if you feel you are ready!

C is for Charity
During the Tyrannian War, when the battles got harder and enemies got tougher, Kauvara donated Healing Potions to the Money Tree.

D is for Dung
Kauvara has told me that one of the main ingredients in most of her potions are pieces of dung! Shh… it might ruin her sales…

E is for Elixir
Elixirs are a type of potion that Kauvara makes. The most common are: Ubikiberry, Lime, Juicy, and Pale.

F is for Faerieland
Faerieland is a very important to Kauvara. Not only did she attend brewing school there, but it also is where her biggest competition is. The Healing Faerie sells potions, goo, and elixirs that can threat to put the Magic Shop out of business. “I have no worries,” said Kauvara, “She only sells one per person. Once they get that, they’ll come crawling back to me.”

G is for Glittery
After asking my Kau, Kolton, what he thought of Kauvara, her said that she was beautiful and glittery. You have to admit it, she is glittery!

H is for Holiday
Kauvara’s favorite holiday is Kau Day. It comes on the nineteenth day of the month of Relaxing. Kauvara has not done anything *that* special on Kau Day yet, but she might in the future.

I is for Invisible
Rumor has it, that while experimenting with Invisible Morphing Potions, Kauvara inhaled the toxic fumes and became invisible for a full day before the potion wore off.

J is for Jack-in-the-Box
While on the subject of rumors, it is said that Kauvara once ate a jack-in-the-box.

K is for Kayla
Kayla is a red Zafara that is one of the heroes that discovered Meridell. Though it started rough, she was accepted as the potion master and now has her own shop. Just like her idol, Kauvara.

L is for Light Faerie
Kauvara studied in the Tower of the Light Faerie until her father called her back home to run the family shop. Kauvara left bitterly but is now glad that she did, she runs her own magic shop!

M is for Mootix
On Kau Day, Kauvara was working on a Potion for Kaus everywhere. However, she shrunk herself, and used the help of a Mootix to get back to normal size. Well, the story is better explained here

N is for Neoschool
In Neoschool there is a class of Potion Brewing. It is very difficult, and Kauvara was asked to teach it. She turned it down; however, she suggested her friend, Mr. Leer, take her place instead!

O is for Outer Appearance
Ever wonder why Kauvara has such weird colors? Well, it was a permanent side-effect when she stupidly drank a potion. She has no complaints though. “I like the color,” she stated, “It makes me different from everyone else!”

P is for Potion
Kauvara’s specialty is potions. She has many different kinds, healing, transmogrification, morphing, and a wild assortment of battle potions!

Q is for Quill
Kauvara has a special quill that she uses to write books. She is a talented author and has already written many unpublished books.

R is for Roo Island
Roo Island is where Kauvara collects arbiter berries for a special potion. It is very expensive, very strong, and very secretive. Only Kauvara and her sister, Allita, know what it does. It is unreleased, but the public is ready…

S is for Sloth
Sloth is a big factor for Kauvara. “I never thought someone so evil, could be so, helpful! The secret ingredient he slipped into my potion made it a Transmogrification Potion! Sales are up, up, up!” stated Kauvara. “I wanted pets to fear mutants!” said Doctor Frank Sloth when asked to comment on is tampering with Kauvara’s potions, “now they all want to be one! Another plan down the drain…”

T is for Tradition
Kauvara wanted to be a magician, making potions and brewing. However, her family got her to run the Magic Shop, doing the business, no magic. But when the pet supplying them with merchandise wound up to be a fake, Kauvara started to make products herself!

U is for Uncle Klum
Uncle Klum is Kauvara’s idol. She always looked up to him and still is always happy to see him at family reunions. Uncle Klum was a traveling magician and Kauvara wanted to be just like him. “Kauvara turned out to be a fine young lady,” said Klum, “I never doubted her!”

V is for Vial
Kauvara has the most trouble with vials; they have to be small, but with so much magic. She has only made one, named: “Magic Vial” it restores your pets hit points.

W is for Weapons
Kauvara sell different magical weapons. They are nothing like swords, bombs, or shields, but they are battle potions and motes. Motes are limited use items that are magic in its pure form. As mentioned earlier, there is a large amount of battle potions, most extremely rare!

X is for X Potion
The X Potion is a name given to a failed potion. Kauvara is very careful to let these stay hidden, as they are very dangerous to the ever so curious public.

Y is for Yore
Kauvara loves to tell stories of mages and spell casters of yore. She will gather up all of the little Kaus at family reunions and tell tales of them. “It is very entertaining!” says Kauvara’s younger cousin.

Z is for Zappy
Everyone knows Doctor Zappy, that crazy Scorchio that runs the lab ray? Ya’ll love him too, don’t you? Well, so does Kauvara, literally. “I’ve had a crush on him since I was little,” admits the Kau, embarrassingly.
