 Coltzan and Sparky, Together Again

King Coltzan was the royal of all royals
The vastness of the Lost Desert he led
His influence and teachings carry on
Legendary heroics continue to be spread
But beneath that formidable exterior
Was a man who was plain flesh and blood
Beside him as he ruled the Lost Desert
Was Sparky, his Petpet Spardel, beloved
Sparky was there for every council meeting
And for every desert battalion ever quelled
Sparky grew up with Princesses Amira and Vyssa
And attended every banquet the palace held
Yes, King Coltzan was a fool for his pet
He loved Sparky with all of his heart
They were together through thick and thin
Only by Coltzan’s death were they apart
Sparky could not understand the sudden change
Of Coltzan’s death, Sparky could not register
He spent the rest of his years in the Lost Desert
Feeling lost and abandoned, missing his master
But today, Coltzan and Sparky would no longer be apart
As King Coltzan stood by heaven’s pearly gates
Sparky the Spardel has now ascended to the sky, too
For his furry friend, the king waits and waits
A joyful bark, King Coltzan suddenly heard
The pleasing sound made his heart warm
With a flash of blue and a lick of his face
Sparky the Spardel was back within his arms
Yes, King Coltzan was a leader so great
But he couldn’t have done it without his friend
And now, above the skies of the Lost Desert
Were King Coltzan and Sparky reunited again
