 Celebrate Neopets 26th Birthday!

Wow, can you believe it?! It’s that time of year already and Neopets is turning 26 years old, yes that’s right, you heard me 26 years old; boy, does time fly! Maybe some of you have been playing since you were a child like me in the 2000’s. Oh the memories, how grateful am I that Neopets is still around and gets to celebrate another birthday! Let’s keep enjoying playing and let’s keep doing our bit to keep the site up and running, we never want it to end! If you want to go down memory lane with me, keep on reading and let’s bring back some nostalgia! :) We will be talking about all the things on site that happen on Neopets birthday and how to celebrate Neopets being another year older and what goes on around the site! Carry on reading to find out more - 1. Celebrate with your pets and feed them some birthday cake. Why not treat your pets? Neopets is another year older, let them enjoy the day as well! Head to the Neopets bakery and grab yourself and your pet a nice cake and blow out 26 candles and eat that delicious cake slice. Yum, enjoy! What cake will you be going for? Are you more of a chocolate person or more of an icing cake person? In fact what will your pets have? This is the day to indulge and not to feel guilty! Everyone loves cake! 2. Celebrate on your guild message board or on the neoboards! Don’t forget to celebrate with your fellow Neopians who have been most likely playing since they were young as well and don’t forget to change your avatar to something birthday themed! Happy Birthday Neopia!! I’m sure everyone is just as excited for this day and is ready to celebrate, talk with your neofriends and reminisce on everything Neopet related :) 3. Every year on November 15th the Neopets Birthday avatar becomes available. All you have to do is visit the News Features page any time on this day, to get this great avatar for your collection. Please don’t miss out since this avatar is only available once a year! If you do miss it, make sure to come back next year to get this spectacular avatar! Once you have it, put it up every year to show your appreciation for Neopets anniversaries! 4. Birthday site theme, on this day when you log in you may notice the birthday site theme! It will be up all day for you and will go back to the normal theme after the 24 hours so enjoy the lovely welcoming on this day, and get in the party mood. It's always present to log on and see this lovely theme for the day makes it feel so special :) 5. Birthdays and gifts go spot on together, and Neopets has always been wonderful enough to release free goodie bags for everyone to enjoy in the NC Mall. They contain wearables or stat boosting Birthday Cakes for peoples Pets. Do not miss out on these freebies as they’re only given out once a year and even better they are 100 percent free! TNT are so generous to all their players so stop by the NC mall and get yours before you miss it! 6. Trip down memory lane? Remember Neopets 25th anniversary? Who remembers the new wheel just for this time? How cool was it though! So many prizes were won, really good ones too and even a spiffy avatar for the collectors! I wonder what TNT will do this year, you never know, maybe the wheel will be back! Imagine how good it would be if it was! There were also plushies released for Neopets 25th birthday and cool new Anniversary Pets such as the birthday Aisha. Maybe TNT will have some cool new releases this year as well! We will see what it brings, TNT never lets us down and there is always something to look forward to :) 7. Go out for a fancy meal! It’s only once a year why not go out to the kelp and have some lovely gourmet food with your Pets! Or if it’s too expensive I’m sure you can find another place in Neopia to dine out but get someone to cook for you and your Pets and have the day off and enjoy it! A celebratory meal is a must have; a once a year fine dining experience if your bank account can afford it! I think it’s ok to splurge once a year on a good meal! 8. Go see a concert at the hall! Sing your heart out for Neopets birthday for you and your Pets to enjoy! It’s definitely a must do! Everyone loves a good concert, especially to celebrate. What concert will you be seeing? I hope you have an amazing time with your Pets and don’t forget to dress up for the occasion! 9. Go all out and take the entire day off! Hold a small party, get some balloons for your Pets, unwrap some presents for them and play lots of games to celebrate! Don't forget to get in the games room and play some old school Neopet games! Nothing spells Neopets like the games room does! 10. And lastly, go out for a walk with your Neopets, enjoy the weather and just have a wonderful day with your Pets besides they wouldn’t be here if Neopets wasn’t here! Nothing like a good stroll especially after a celebratory meal! Enjoy the air and get ready for another Neopets day. And that’s it guys, some amazing things to do on Neopets 26th birthday!
