| A List for the Greatest Neopian Holiday: Jhudora Dayby __jxhn_

 --------

With Jhudora Day coming closer, all Dark Faerie-loving Neopians are getting ready
to celebrate. As you may already know, all special Neopets days need a to-do-list
published in the Neopian Times. Many of us are asking ourselves now, what should
we do on the greatest holiday in Neopian history? Well I can answer that
question for you! Below, I have compiled a list of twenty four (February
fourth = 2/4 = 24) things you can do on the third annual, super duper, super dark,
Jhudora Day!!
But first, I think a history lesson is in order.
For as long as anyone can remember, Jhudora has been the scariest thing in
Neopia, besides the amazingly odd popularity of Shoyrus of course. Unlike other
villains, however, Jhudora doesn’t seem to have done anything wrong. Or so we
think... It has been rumored that Illusen and Jhudora hate each other so dearly
because Illusen, a faerie residing in Meridell, knows something of Jhudora’s
dark ways and evil schemes. No one ever talks about it, so no one asks about
it, leaving us extra curious Neopians behind a closed door of mystery.
It has also been said that Jhudora has never been caught “purple-handed” because
she never takes direct action when pulling off a plan. According to the Neopedia,
Jhudora is famous for employing others to do her evil bidding. In topic number
191 of the Neopedia, it says, “This keeps her own hands clean and helps corrupt
those who assist her. Two evils with one stone, as it were.” There is not much
more proof that Jhudora has ever done anything besides these two lines.
Another theory about Jhudora’s evil plots is shared by many Neopians.
They say that Jhudora collects such odd items from innocent Neopians because
she is brewing magical potions on her cloud. In Neopedia topic number 259, it
says, “Some Neopets have reported that, in the dark of night, Jhudora's been
spotted while chanting and dropping the items into a cauldron of bubbling green
liquid.” These concoctions may be part of Jhudora’s plot to put Kauvara out
of business with a new line of battle and transformation potions, but many think
these potions may all be a part of Jhudora’s master plan to take over Faerieland,
and then on to all of Neopia. One can never be too careful when dealing with
a Dark Faerie of such evil.
Recently, it has been thought that Jhudora has had direct contact with the
Darkest Faerie throughout the years, which may be why Jhudora never tells her
age. How they communicated is unknown, but this means Jhudora could be thousands
of years old, which also means other faeries may be this old as well.
If the Darkest Faerie was commanding Jhudora to make these potions, then Neopians
should be very observant, as well as suspicious, of all of Jhudora’s
  actions.
 Now for the list:
 1. Even though she is quite hideous, you can draw Jhudora for the Art
Gallery! You may even win a trophy!
 2. Complete one of her quests, duh. I hear there’s an avatar in store for those
loyal to her on her special day. –wink, wink-
 3. “Bless” all your pets with Bottled Dark Faeries. That is, if the faeries
don’t fly away before they reach your Pets.
 4. Make a Jhudora Gallery, filled with all of her quest prizes, the good and
  the bad. Mostly bad though.
 5. Join a Jhudora lover’s guild and celebrate this dreadful day with all of
  your neofriends!
 6. Draw Faerieland and then color it purple and green, symbolizing Jhudora’s
takeover. We all know it’s going to happen.
 7. Dye your hair purple and green just like our Dark Faerie Queen!
 8. Then wash the dye out of your hair when your parents yell at you for pretending
  to be an evil overlord.
 9. Paint all your pets Darigan and have them obey Jhudora’s every order.
 10. Paint all your Petpets Darigan and have them obey your Darigan Neopets.
 11. Buy a Bartamus Petpet for your favorite Pet! (Just don’t tell the others.)
 12. Dream about Darigan Petpetpets. They’ll be here—someday...
 13. Adopt a yellow Kacheek in honor of Welldap, even though he was a coward
and he failed Jhudora. Actually, never mind that one...
13b. Adopt a yellow Kacheek and have him fail Jhudora’s quests. HAHAHA!
 14. Neomail everyone you know, wishing them an appalling Jhudora Day!
 15. Fail one of Illusen’s quests so she doesn’t get what she needs. That goody-two
shoes doesn’t even deserve whatever she wants. What exactly did she do with
my Double Dung Hot Dog anyway?
 16. Guess Jhudora’s age! Just make sure she’s not around when you do, otherwise...
  Well, just be careful.
 17. Compete in all the Jhudora-related contests TNT releases in the new features.
  Trophies may follow. =o
 18. Write an article about Jhudora for the Neopian Times or your guild newspaper.
  Comics are great too!
 19. Get the high score in Jhudora’s Cloud! Although, this may take a really
long time, considering the high score is around sixty thousand points.
 20. Make a Jhudora user lookup or dress up your guild with a Jhudora-themed
layout. But be sure you don’t use her as a shopkeeper. Even though you may love
her dearly, she loves Neopoints even more and you may find your shop till emptying
before you can get to it...
 21. Use one of the two Jhudora avatars and make a neoHTML and signature to
match. I hear purple and green are big this time of year.
 22. Go to the Avatar board and show off your ghastly new font. =)
 23. Feed all your pets Jhudora Day Ice Cream or Jhudora Day Burgers. But be
sure you’re quick enough so they don’t fly away before your Pets can get their
  hands on them.
 24. Just have a horrible time and party like you’re the Darkest Faerie!
Now that I’ve given you all of these hideous possibilities, there’s no way
you could have a good time. Have an awful Jhudora Day, everyone! Hope you your
day is terrible, filled with bad luck, utter darkness and very unpleasant
  random events! With love, __Jxhn_.
Author’s Note: If you’re reading this, that means my first article EVER
got into the Neopian Times. So yay me! =D
