Tangible Evidence that Coltzan is the Greatest King

     While he died many, many years ago, we still remember him daily. Coltzan’s Shrine is a must-see anytime you’re in the Lost Desert! But alas, we’re here to talk about the things we can see, hold close, and treasure - the items that remind us of his reign and power. In this article, we’ll be diving into those, but first, some back story.

     Many years ago, a great king named Coltzan III ruled over the Lost Desert. He was a beloved king, both stern and mighty yet also kind and full of wisdom. He had two loving daughters, Amira and Vyssa, who were both in line for the throne.

     Coltzan held a banquet in his palace, celebrating the defeat of Dr. Sloth, and invited multiple politicians to the great feast. Unfortunately, Coltzan was poisoned during the meal and fell to an untimely demise. While the culprit, Princess Sankara, was eventually caught, many citizens of Sakhmet were devastated by the loss. His youngest daughter, Vyssa, built an obelisk right outside the city in memoriam of her father.

     While the obelisk, known to us as Coltzan’s Shrine, is one of the primary ways we remember the fallen king, there are a number of other ways to honor him, including many items to collect and share! So without further ado, here it is: tangible evidence that Coltzan will forever and always be the greatest king.

      Things to Collect!

     Everyone loves to collect. Whether you start one and never finish it or are a completionist, collections are fun for all! Coltzan has a number of stamps, coins, and cards featuring our beloved King.

     Coltzan Stamp - A very rare and sought after stamp, this rarity 101 item was first released through the Lenny Conundrum to celebrate the 50th round. This stamp features a stunning photo of the late king. It is now part of the Creative Contest prize pool, so get your writing tool or paintbrush out and start being, well, creative!

     Holographic Coltzans Shrine Stamp - Another stamp for your Desert Stamp Album Page, this rarity 99 item can be purchased through the Neopian Post Office! It features the ghost of Coltzan watching over the obelisk dedicated to him.

     King Coltzan Coin - Even beyond the grave, Coltzan’s spirit remains a fan of collecting. If you’re lucky, you might find this coin buried in the sands surrounding Coltzan’s Shrine.

     Coltzans Shrine Coin - Not just one, but two coins can be found beneath the sands! Visit Coltzan’s Shrine today and try your luck.

     King Coltzan III - Any neodeck wouldn’t be complete without this card. Sporting a brilliant green back, this can be restocked at the Collectable Card Shop. The stunning art on the card is the perfect inspiration for other forms of art: paintings, cross stitch, and even tattoos!

     Make your pet even stronger with these battle items!

     Mask of Coltzan - Even Fyora holds Coltzan III in high regards. If you are able to locate the Hidden Tower, you can buy this mask from within its walls. It has both offensive and defensive powers, launching a fiery attack while protecting your pet from dark and earth based damage.

     Kings Lens - Coins aren’t the only thing you can find buried in the sands of the Shrine. This insanely rare lens packs a punch! It has the ability to reflect half of all earth, dark, and light damage!

     Shield of Coltzan - While visiting Sakhmet, be sure to check out the Battle Supplies Stall. You may find this shield for sale, which was developed by Coltzan to protect him and others from danger. Again, my kind of ruler!

     Coltzans Battle Sceptre - This super rare item can also be found at the Sakhmet Battle Supplies Stall, but only if you are extremely lucky! As a rarity 99 item, it’s not easy to come by!
