Top 8 Most Random Avatars

     Everyone is after the exclusive Avatar Collector’s avatar, thus most of Neopian have a very healthy competitive streak with each other. There are many types of avatar though today it is about random avatar and just like what random meant, completely random. In terms of having random avatar to be awarded, especially to 19 years old account is lower compared to barely one year old account. It been postulated that it is likely because of the scripts running are ancients enough that it can hardly be able to reward the avatar to the one who really want them.

     Nevertheless, we are actually out of the topic as I want to share with you, my personal top eight most random avatars that are guaranteed to have me and you want to grit your teeth and pulling your hair out, silently crying in despair. Besides when someone with much younger account posted on the neoboard saying that much anticipated “Something has happened” has pop-up on their page, awarding them that random avatar that you want so much, you will be screaming hysterically saying that it’s not fair. Am I right?

     Lever of Doom – Randomly awarded when pulling the Lever of Doom.

     This avatar is not really that hard to get. Just that it is the one that time consuming and neopoints wasting types of avatar. You’re wasting too much time refreshing the page, watching your neopoints slowly depleted like crazy when you overly excited using that F5 button. When you actually got the avatar, you never noticed the pop-up because you over refreshed. When checking your preference, you noticed that it is already too late as you have wasted 100k down the Neo drain. Friendly reminder, make sure to check your preference once in a while. You may actually already have it.

          7.

     Bon Appetit – Randomly awarded when taking leftovers from the Kelp.

     “Welcome dear regular customer. Do you have a reservation?” You must have heard this question too many times that you hardly able to count when you visiting the Kelp with your most light weight pet. No matter how bloated your pet is, you never able to have any leftovers to be taken home too. Some of you even spends millions in the Kelp just to have this one avatar with such cute waitress on the front within your grasp. Alas, lady luck is never on your side. Keep trying guys! Go spend your hard earned neopoints until you have none. I’m kidding, don’t do that.

     High Roller – Awarded when you land on the blank square on the Wheel of Extravagance.

     Didn’t you notice that the two avatar before are the one that need you to invest a huge amount of neopoints in order to obtain the avatar? It the same as this one. It’s not by far the hardest, but it just too expensive to get off your checklist, although please don’t say that stamp avatars is much more expansive than this one. I know that however, stamps avatar didn’t categorized as random, right? *stinky eyes* I spent ten in millions for this one. I actually remember the day I got this avatar cross off my list, I cannot stop grinning like crazy that even my pets think that I have become a loony.

          5.

     Snowager – Rawr – Randomly awarded when getting blasted by the Snowager.

     You never missed to visit the Snowager during the times that he fall asleep slash napping. You mostly able to pick up an item or he just move slightly in his sleep but he never have the guts to blasts you. I mean, come on O Mighty Snowager! Blast me with your icy loves. I want the avatar too much to care about actually being blasted by pointy icicles. If not, let’s have a friendly tussle in the battle dome. I will definitely have you give me that avatar someday in near future.

     Edna – Cackle! – Randomly awarded when completing Edna’s Quest.

     You will scream when you got this one off your list. The feeling of finally having this avatar is overwhelming, at least to me. You painstakingly tried to get 3 items quest with word ‘rainbow’ in the context because that is the theory in order to obtain the avatar. The rewards that Edna’s gives you sometimes didn’t even equal the amount of neopoints that you have spent. However because of the avatar, you will do anything to have the last cackled. Take that Edna!

     Geraptiku – Deserted Tomb – Randomly awarded while at the Deserted Tomb.

     Another one that you want to cross from your list desperately. This avatar is just like the Aisha Scalawag one. The randomness really are random. It has been awhile since someone posted on the neoboard about this avatar. On consolation note, you didn’t have to win a prize to get the avatar. You could just be wandering around and there at the side of the treasure chest, that avatar just staying put, shining brightly. You just need to extend your hand a bit more, and poof, it’s gone. You realized that it just a dream. At the time of writing while having times to lurk on neoboard, I saw someone with one month account already have this avatar. The jealousy is real.

     Aisha Scalawag - Randomly awarded when finding the Buried Treasure.

     This avatar is a personal favorite although I haven’t got this one yet. It somehow ridiculous that a younger account already got this avatar out from their list. I have faithfully played this game for every 3 hours but nada. Meanwhile, on neoboard there are people who dedicated their neo-life to post the link for buried treasure coordinates that have the possibility to award the avatar to lucky participant. I used the same one which is 307,108 but I’m not one of that lucky participant. When you’re going to give me this avatar my dearly beloved Neo. Actually scratched that, just give me that 20k neopoints if you don’t want to give me the avatar.

     Brightvale – Land on the pointed star prize spot on the Wheel of Knowledge.

     When you actually think that you have all the random avatars, you check your avatar checklist and somehow this avatar didn’t have that little blue tick mark on the side. This avatar is the hardest wheel avatar that you really want to cross off from your list. The possibility to land on that star prize spot is harder compared to the other wheel avatars. There are some lucky younger account have this avatar but the older one still haven’t got it. Imagined the envy when five months account posted in the neoboard saying that they have this rare gem. Stay cool people. No need to breathe fire.

          So there it goes, my personal top 8 most random avatars or should we called it the avatars that too hard to collect unless lady luck is your new best friend. All eight of them are in the list for various reason such as it is time consuming, need to invest a huge amount of neopoints, have to keep refreshing or never been blasted and so on. However, there are one thing that maybe you and I can agreed with is we want them so bad because it’s beautiful, it’s rare and somehow it’s expansive (not as expensive as stamps avatars, of course).
