The Adventures of Grover the Bloopy

by mistiehall

--------

His name was Grover.
 His colour was blue.
The following story is totally true.

In search of snacks. A need to grow. This Bloopy tunnelled to and fro.

A room appeared, With a luscious smell, He had to explore this room without fail.

This tiny room, Filled with dials and with buttons, Was filled with the smell of stew and of mutton.

Our clumsy friend, Grover, He tripped, then he fell. And his arm hit a bowl, which then fell as well!

Mutton stew, Went everywhere. All on the floor and in his hair.

He tried to stand. He slipped again. And now our story can truly begin.

With each slip, He’d flail about Panicking and reaching out.

Buttons were hit, Levers were thrown, A machine was awakened with a loud groan.

And then suddenly With a Bzzt! and a Zap!
A Meepit appeared standing there in a snap.

He was still feeling hungry, And a little more evil,
Something inside him felt dark and primaeval.

The world is my oyster! I was born to take over!
A Meepit Overlord! Whose name is now Grover!

Alas, the poor guy,
 Again, he slips down.
 And obviously, he’s thrashing around.

Zap! Not again!
 The flash fades away.
What’s left of our friend Grover today?

What is he now?
 A sad pile of soot?
Is our friend Grover really kaput?

He sits there, content,
 Now a basket of treasure,
That’s what he’s become; he’s now filled with pleasure.

His transformation - Cofferling - now complete.
He can’t slip anymore cause he doesn’t have feet.
