Stamps to Avoid While Restocking | June 2026 Edition

by loloisme

--------

Half-priced day is a restocker’s favourite recurring Neopian shop sale! If you’re like me,

your main source of income is through restocking. However, finding profitable items can be

difficult. You could buy stamps blindly and check their value after (like I do) or memorise stamp

values on Jellyneo. I’ve taken the time to do my own research on what stamps to snag and what

not to snag on Half-priced Day (and normal days!). While some stamps may look expensive,

they could actually be only worth a single NP. Hopefully, this guide gives you a quick glimpse

into things that you should steer clear of, especially on Half-priced Day.

What is restocking, you may ask? Restocking is the process of buying items from a

Neopian shop and selling it in your own shop. Half-priced day is perfect, because it slashes

prices in shops, allowing you to increase your profit. I personally like to camp out in Neopia

Central’s own Post Office. As a stamp collector, I like the opportunity to find new stamps that I

don’t have, growing my collection while making a little NP. Since stamps are consumable items

(meaning they disappear once used), they’re constantly in demand and are usually a smart

investment. It is also great when you are trying to bulk up your own stamp album, because

you’re able to generate NP towards your stamp goal or find stamps you are already missing.

While most RS’ers go for large gains, I like to buy more common stamps on Half-priced

day when they’re cheaper, so I can sell them later in the month when the resale prices are

higher. However, finding what’s profitable is all trial and error. It’s taken me years of RS’ing, and

many losses, to find out what to purchase and what not to purchase. These prices are current

as of June 2026, and are subject to change.

First, consider this a small subset of many stamps I have learned to avoid. In order to

identify what stamps to avoid yourself, you’re gonna have to take some losses. My stepwise

formula for this is the following:

     1. Go to the Post Office in Neopia Central. Get acquainted with what common stamps

restock, so you can see what’s around normally and what’s rarer. You can also utilise

Jellyneo to learn what expensive stamps restock there.

     2. If you have Premium, your life is infinitely easier. You can copy and paste the stamp

you’re looking at into your Super Shop Wizard, and you can automatically see if there’s a

     profit to be made.

     a. If you go this route, expect not to actually purchase most items you click on, as

they’ll most likely sell out while you search. This should only be done with the

expectation of learning pricing for stamps.

     3. Purchase the stamps and then search for their value, and then make a list as I did to

determine what’s a good buy and what is not. When restocking in a high-traffic store like

the Post Office, you need to move quickly.

Taking time to search will eat up those

few precious seconds that you could

use to be grabbing a rare stamp.

I created this guide mostly through a combination of all of the tips above. I would sit on

Half-priced Day, camped out on my work breaks, refreshing and clicking on that old, yellow Chia

of a Shopkeeper and taking notes. I go to the Post Office with a bunch of NP, buy something,

and then immediately SSW it to see what the price was. If it was a loss, I put it on this list. If

these stamps don’t pull a profit on Half-priced Day, they sure won’t pull a profit on a normal

restocking day, so I recommend you steer clear of these when normal restocking, too.

     Now, let’s get into it!

     1) Master Vex Stamp

     a) This stamp goes for 1,000 Neopoints on the secondary market. This r85 stamp

commonly restocks at ~2,500 NP, making it not worth your time to purchase. On

Half-priced Day, it goes for ~1,250 NP, and so you’re losing NP when you buy

this one. Really only purchase this one for sticking in your album.

     2) Jhuidah Stamp

     a) This r76 stamp goes for about 850 NP in user shops. Full price in the Post Office

is around 1,700 NP, so on Half-priced Day, it’s worth about exactly 850 NP. You

would not make a profit with this stamp! It’s even more of a loss if you purchase it

     on a normal day, too.

     3) Pirate Attack Stamp

     a) Don’t be fooled! This r85 stamp has a rare rarity rating, but is worth 1NP! It was

released in 2005 and is currently sitting at just 1 NP. However, its RS price is

around ~2,500 NP, which makes it look more expensive than it really is. It being

in the prize pool for Anchor Management is probably the reason this stamp

     plummeted in price.

     4) Halloween Ona Stamp

     a) This adorable r85 stamp looks like it’d be worth more than it does, not only based

on appearance, but also on the RS price. At the Neopian Post Office, you can

purchase this sticker for ~1,600 NP on Half-priced Day (or ~3,200 on a normal

day), or you can buy it from a user shop for around 950 NP. No matter what, it’s

not worth purchasing this one unless you need it for an album!

     5) Everlasting Crystal Apple Stamp

     a) This uncommon (r84) stamp is worth just under 1,000 NP. It normally restocks for

around 1,600 NP on a normal day and half that on HPD, so while you may

perhaps make a profit on your buying price and market conditions, it isn’t enough

when you can find a more profitable stamp in the same RS drop.

Stamp collecting is an expensive hobby – trust me, I know! Sometimes you also want to

turn a profit so you can make NP to buy more stamps, so it can turn into a vicious cycle.

However, with a little bit of research and data keeping, you too can make a guide of what to buy

and what not to buy from your favourite shops. Overall, restocking is a great way to make Neopoints.

It does take time and patience, but in the end, it is worth it!
