Kadoatie Goes to the Beach

by tangerine_paws

--------

Take me to the beach! Right now!

If we don’t go, I will meow!

I’ll sulk and pout! I’ll hiss and roar!

I’ll cry and cry and CRY some more!

What’s that? Will we go? Load up the car!

I’ll bring my Spike It! avatar,

my Sea Shell Bathing Suit, my Sandals,

all those Citronella Candles --

yuck! they smell like citronella! --

where’s my Palm Tree Beach Umbrella?

Where’s my Fancy Sun Hat? Where’s

my Self Care Book? My Pickled Pears?

I need my Beakadoodle Kite!

Some Cole Slaw and a Bronto Bite!

Illusens Sunscreen, Aggleroot,

Maraquan Frisbee, Tchea Fruit,

Le Sausage, Lemon Faerie Mousse,

that Comfy Beach Chair, Garlic Juice,

and grab my Wocky Water Bottle --

come on, lady, let’s not dawdle!

Don’t forget my Doughnut Float Ring!

And that silly Toy Sailboat thing!

Hurry up! Let’s beat the crowds!

Let’s beat the rain and thunderclouds!

Drive fast! Slow down! Don’t slam the brakes!

And you should give me Ghost Cupcakes!

The beach! It’s there! We’re here! Hooray!

But why’d you park so far away?

The sun is bright! My Summer Fun

Sunglasses don’t block the sun!

The boardwalk just gave me a sliver!

Stupid wooden sliver-giver!

The sand is hot! And rough! And sandy!

You should give me Kiko Candy!

Neocola! Chia Pops!

Give me Chocolatey Pork Chops!

The sea is cold! And wet! And salty!

Miss, I think this beach is faulty!

My Checkered Ice Cream cone is dripping!

My good mood is swiftly slipping!

Ma’am, this beach is outright bad!

I’m hungry now! And very sad!

And mad! So mad I’ll write a poem!

I hate the beach! Now take me home!
