Chocolate I Spy

“Trust me, I think you’re really going to like it, Kat
I got it from a Yellow Kiko with a cane and fancy hat
He said, ‘I’ve got a shop quite big here, a deli of sweets
You’ll find all sorts of things you would love to eat!”

Kat’s dad pours his precious treasure, the sound just like thunder
And Kat’s eyes looked before her with awe and wonder!
Chocolates were gleaming in wrapped packages so bright
Plucked from the Milky Way it seemed to the sight!

There were chocolates of dark and chocolates of mint
And chocolates so fluffy that they looked like balls of lint
Chocolates with caramel that stuck stubbornly to the teeth
And chocolates with cream and fillings underneath

From that day on, she was Kat, brilliant chocolate connoisseur
You could hardly find anyone who was more addicted than her!
She grew up to create and experiment with chocolate varieties
And soon, everyone Neopia-wide started to laud her activities

It caught the attention of the Chocolate Factory Kiko, too
He wanted to see what else chocolate-addicted Kat could do!
He sent her a letter inviting her to take under his wing, er… hand?
Saying, “You sound just like the woman to expand my brand!”

Kat couldn’t believe her luck, the Kiko couldn’t have been kinder
Who knew this was where her chocolate addiction could land her!
They held a meeting to discuss other things that they could do
To make everyone else in Neopia addicted to chocolate too

He had suggested mystery toys; he had suggested stickers
But Kat had something better planned, she said with many snickers
“What about a simple yet fun game that everybody could play?
I’m sure we can attract more chocolate addicts that way!”

The Chocolate Factory Kiko thought this idea mighty fine
And the two went straight off to be published in the Neopian Times
