 What Makes Mutants So Awesome!

People call us Mutant, but unique is more apt
We’ve come up with many ways to evolve and adapt!
It’s the survival of the fittest, not the prettiest, after all
You’ll never catch a Mutant Neopet not standing tall!
Some of us mutants don’t have two eyes, but one or three
But that improves our quality of life, can’t you see?
Our eyes help us creep around in the darkness of night
While sparkling so prettily in the bright moonlight!
And our multiple arms and legs? We love them a lot!
A flaw in our appearance? Pshaw, we think not!
Our plentiful limbs make us great at playing tag
And we never have any trouble with holding our bag
Some of us, like the Chomby, can be absolutely gigantic
But we’re just gentle giants, please do not panic!
While our vast size makes you look as small as a bug
We’ve also got more surface area for a warm, cosy hug
And while it’s true that the Quiggles and Gnorbus drool
That’s because we’ve got a Mutant Grundo that’s super cool
He’s the head chef of Grundo’s Café at the Virtupets Station
His scrumptious dishes give our tummies much elation
You’re scared of us because of our sharp spikes and teeth?
That doesn’t change the fact we’re just softies underneath!
Being in our companionship will always be a plus
For bad guys like Meuka and the Shadow Usul are afraid of us
As you can see, mutants have awesome traits of their own
This poem shall hopefully make them more known
Or better yet, encourage you to go out of your way
And wish our unique friends a very Happy Mutant Day!
