Hey, That Pinchit Pinched It!

--------

The sand is warm and ever so fine, there is nothing quite like it and the feeling so divine. You must come visit if you have never been before, to Mystery Island’s Beach, come and sit with the others on the shore.

The water laps gently at the sand and you can always hear its whoosh, make sure to come with those who will not attempt to give you a push. A place to relax and simply unwind, here a much needed deep breath you will be able to find.

Close your eyes and let the sun do its job, leave all thoughts behind and embrace being a blob. The sound of moving sand is ever so calming, no need to open your eyes as nothing here is alarming.

The day’s almost over and the sun’s beginning to set, what a glorious view this Beach offers, it’s the best by far I bet. You reach down for your watch and wonder where it went, losing it was far from your desired intent!

You narrow your eyes and scan the surface of the sand, it must be around here somewhere for help you begin to demand. Not far from your resting place you see a subtle glisten, ‘what is that over there?’ you turn your head to also listen.

You hear the scurry of little legs traversing the sand, ‘hey, that’s mine!’ you bellow before the mysterious creature reaches the grassland. You run, slowed by sand but determined to catch the thief, you must get it back to rid yourself of this grief.

You reach the shiny object and behold, it’s your missing watch, carried by a sneaky Pinchit who’s subtlety is top notch. The little critter turned and looked up as you grabbed your watch back, those beady red eyes and little claws looked ready to attack.

The Pinchit would stand no chance and you would never hurt one so, he turned to scurry away and eager he looked to go. He was so small he blended perfectly with the sand, but this watch from now on i’ll keep right on my hand.
