A Neopia of Places to Visit with your Valentine by _brainchild_
--------
Hi! Have you and your Valentine been wondering where you should go this Valentine’s Day? Neopia is a big place, after all. Well, don’t worry, since Neopia has someplace for everyone, whether you go to Moltara or Terror Mountain. Without further ado, I present 18 Neopian places to visit with your Valentine from 18 Neopian lands spanning all over the globe: Pizzaroo: Who doesn’t love a tasty lunch or dinner consisting of pizza? You can find this charming pizza shop in the Neopian Plaza. They have lots of interesting pizza options for you and your Valentine to try. Why not order a Whole Cheese Pizza and split it? The Roo Island Merry-Go-Round: A Merry-Go-Round would be fun, and it’s only 50 Neopoints per ride, so the two of you can spend the whole day on the Merry-Go-Round if you would like. It features lots of interesting Uni and Peophin figures to ride upon, so why not try it at least once? Glass Bottom Boat Tours: Kiko Lake is home to the Glass Bottom Boat. You and your Valentine can take a ride on the boat and look through the glass at the marvellous sea life. There are also underwater buildings. Be sure to take pictures! Rink Runner: There’s a beautiful ice rink in Happy Valley. When the Bruces aren’t using it, maybe you and your Valentine could skate together? Be sure to reserve time in advance so that the rink isn’t taken. Brightvale Books: Why not go looking for some books that you can enjoy together? The two of you can even start a book club! However, please bear in mind that in Neopia, books disappear after you are finished reading them. Turdle Racing: Turdle Racing can be found in Meridell. Why not watch the Turdles go? You can even place a bet if you are feeling confident in your Turdle, or feed a treat from your Inventory to help the Turdle win. Win or lose, Turdle Racing is a fun pastime. Tyrannian Concert Hall: Go see a concert! There are several Tyrannian bands that you and your Valentine can enjoy. Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Booth nearby. Furthermore, you’ll get a piece of concert swag on the way out. Kelp: Kelp is a fancy restaurant in Maraqua. Once you get past the rude Maraquan Scorchio guarding the front door, you will be able to enjoy a variety of aquatic foods. Just be sure to bring enough Neopoints! Furthermore, if you take home leftovers, you may receive an avatar. It looks like this:

Mystery Island Tiki Tours: Similar to the Roo Island Merry-Go-Round, this attraction only costs 25 Neopoints per ride. You and your Valentine can enjoy the island all day. Coconut JubJubs will cart you around while you enjoy the scenery! The Golden Dubloon: The Golden Dubloon is a restaurant on Krawk Island that serves many unique dishes. However, they only accept Dubloons, not Neopoints, so be prepared. Also bear in mind that the restaurant has limited seats, and you cannot come in when it's full. Poogle Racing: Like Turdle Racing in Meridell, Faerieland features Poogle Racing. The Poogles happen to be a lot faster than Turdles! Bet on your favourite Poogle if you’re feeling confident, or feed a treat from your Inventory to help the Poogle win. There is also an avatar you can win for betting on the winning Poogle. It looks like this:

The Haunted House: A little-known feature of the Haunted Woods is the Haunted House. Pay it a visit with your Valentine to play a game! The Haunted House is a “Choose Your Own Adventure” game, similar to an interactive book. You can’t win any prizes for winning the game, nor will you lose anything if you lose the game, so this is just for fun. The Xendrik Mansion: Within Sakhmet in the Lost Desert, you will find the Xendrik Mansion, which has been opened to the public as a museum tour. Why not enjoy the tour with your Valentine? You will learn all about the Xendrik family and their precious heirlooms. Exquisite Ambrosia: Within Altador, you will find a restaurant called Exquisite Ambrosia. Why not enjoy a nice Altadorian meal with your Valentine? Maybe the two of you could share a Brie Cheese Platter. I hear that it’s especially good! The Lunar Temple: Within Shenkuu, you’ll find the Lunar Temple. Why not try to solve the puzzle with your Valentine? If you guess correctly, you’ll receive a prize, which could be valuable if you are lucky. If you don’t get it right, you will receive a consolation prize. Worm Hunt: Moltara features many interesting, glowing worms which you can collect. First, visit Lampwyck’s Lights Fantastic, where you will be given an Empty Lantern to store the worms in. Once you and your Valentine find them all, you can use the lantern, lit by worms, to explore the Dark Cave and collect Red Moltite. The first time you do this, you can return to Lampwyck to collect a Friendly Glowing Lantern, which is wearable. The Red Moltite, along with other materials you’ll find in Moltara, can be used to craft Petpets at Tangor’s Workshop. Cafe Kreludor: There isn’t much to do on Kreludor, but you and your Valentine can visit Cafe Kreludor and get a bite to eat. Maybe the two of you could share a Grape Slurpship? It comes with two straws. Also, I hear that the Orange Rambus Burger is pretty good! Gormball: At the Virtupets Space Station, you and your Valentine can play a fun game of Gormball. You can match against each other, or team up against the AI. Nevertheless, who wins and who gets soaked is a matter of luck!
With that, you and your Valentine should be able to find a suitable place to enjoy yourself this Valentine’s Day. Whether the two of you are gamers or sightseers, there is someplace for everyone. With that, I leave the two of you to ponder my suggestions. I hope that the two of you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
