 A Beach Petpet Menagerie by lynnrules118108
--------
The beach is a magical, wonderful place
Filled with sand, sea, and flora galore.
But beyond the spectacular nature around,
There’s many Petpets to be seen from the shore.
As you step carefully through the sun-warmed sand
You see a pile that’s shifting so strange.
A Sand Bogie emerges, with its sour apple scent,
Though the wind starts to blow it out of your range.
As you were distracted, your toe feels a nip;
A Crabby being playful as it scuttles by.
Its shiny red shell starts reflecting the sun
And you smile to yourself as you wave it goodbye.
Just off to your left is a smattering of rocks
And one looks familiar, so you try to recall.
You peer a bit closer to study its shape,
And you realize it’s a Rock Petpet after all.
Beyond the Petpets on the beach’s shore
There are many to be found in the water’s tide.
Once you start to wade out into the sea
You’ll see those that in the ocean reside.
Immediately as you step into the sea,
A gathering of Kelpflakes idly drifts by your feet.
Their faces are smiling, so relaxed in the sway;
You stop as they pass, like they’re crossing the street.
You start to hear splashing from somewhere nearby;
Droplets are flying and glinting in the sun.
It’s a Tiny Giant Squid with its tentacles aflutter;
He looks like he’s having so much fun!
From off in the distance, something catches your eye;
Multiple somethings cresting over top of the sea.
A pod of Delfin are leaping and twirling,
Swimming around through the water with glee.
There’s many more Petpets, if you start looking close
From Bubbles, to Uniocto, to Lutra, or Nuranna.
One thing I can say about a trip to the beach:
You’ll never be bored by the diversity of fauna!
