Neopian Crisis: Dr. Frank Sloth's Return!

It all started in the not so distant future, when the Space Faerie was exploring the worlds. She was monitoring the Tyrannian Plateau, watching for a beast like the Monoceraptor to pop up. She was flying around when she saw a hole in the ground. She looked inside and found tall, dark figures busily mining inside. She asked them who they were but they answered her with an axe!

The Space Faerie quickly used an attack, "Space Faerie Boom", to fight back and soon discovered that they were Mutant Grundos!! She went on in this mind bending labyrinth. Eventually, she had to blow up walls to find her way around. She sent ultimately powerful blasts all over until she saw Dr. Sloth himself!!

"Sloth, I knew it was you! I never expected to find YOU of all uhh... slugs in Tyrannia!!"

"Why, haven't you figured it out yet? Idiot!! The Monoceraptor was MY creation!! I caused the Tyrannian Invasion!!"

"How could you? That's not important right now!! I just have to stop you ONCE AND FOR ALL!!"

"Really? Well, just try!!"

"Space Faerie Special!!!"

"I don't need to fight a weakling!! I can easily eliminate you with my Mutant Ray Gun!!"

A brilliant blue light appeared almost out of nowhere. Before the Space Faerie's attack hit Sloth, the light collided with this Faerie's blast and turned it into a mutant NeoPet!!!

"SLOTH!!! WHY MORE MUTANTS?!"

"Silence, pitiless Faerie, you're next!!"

Again, the light shone and went straight toward the Space Faerie!! Through all of her efforts to stop it, it mutated her into a Chia Bomber!!!

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! NOTHING TO STOP ME THIS TIME!!!! NEOPIA WILL BE MINE!!!!!!!!!!

Although the Space Faerie was defeated, she was able to inform the Faerie Queen about what had happened seconds before her mutation.

"WHAT?! SLOTH?! Oh no!! Not THE SPACE Faerie!!! Uber Air Faerie, go and fetch Kiaara the Swift. I must deliver a message to ALL of the Faeries."

"Aahh... Your Majesty... what can I do for you?"

"Listen, Uni, and do not speak. Dr. Sloth is back. We must stop him. Send a message to King Roo and all of the Faeries- and I mean all: even the Soup and the Negg Faerie. Tell them all to come to my palace IMMEDIATELY. Anyone that disobeys will be changed by me from a Faerie or Roo to a mere key chain. Anyone who stalls will be changed into an somewhat weak NeoPet. Uni, if you do not return within 48 hours, you also shall be punished severely. Is that clear? Remember, on your voyage, avoid any distractions. It could be one of Dr. Sloth's minions."

"I'll try my best, your majesty..."

Within minutes, Kiaara the Swift set out, racing hard. She first went to King Roo.

"Enter, Kiaara the Swift!!" the guard exclaimed.

"Welcome, my loyal messenger Kiaara."

"Your Majesty, a message from Her Majesty, the Faerie Queen. She ordered you and your armies to come to her palace. Dr. Sloth has returned to Neopia and is exceedingly dangerous. If you do not come or if you stall, she will punish you severely."

"And, Uni, why attack now? What has Sloth done?"

"He has mutated the Space Faerie. She is now a just Chia Bomber!!"

"The Space Faerie? Didn't she defeat Sloth before? He must have gotten stronger and more dangerous. I should fight. How could the Faerie Queen defeat him without my aide? Well, messenger, I shall gather my armies and leave as soon as possible."

"Thank you, Your Majesty."

King Roo wanted to help Kiaara, so he had millions of posters printed for the Faeries to see so that Kiaara wouldn't have to visit every single Faerie. All of the Faeries showed up, with the exception of some Dark Faeries who did receive their punishment. King Roo came with a whole army of Roos, Moehogs, Shoyrus, Eyries, Kacheeks, Jetsams, Chias, Jubjubs, and many others. They were all armed and specially trained for such a situation. At the beginning of the conference, there was much noise and a few riots. This all stopped when the Faerie Queen raised her "Scepter of the Faerie Queen" and bolts of purple thunder came out.

"Silence, everyone. Thank you. Now, we are all gathered here for a very special reason. Dr. Frank Sloth has returned to Neopia!!!! We must develop a battle plan to defeat him. He is very powerful- even more powerful than before!! He has already mutated the Space Faerie into a Chia Bomber!!! We must create a wonderful plan- before it's too late. A battle is in fact nearing by the second. So let us get to work. We'll have a speech from the Battle Faerie. She has a strategy that was planned out with Grarrg the Tyrannian Battle Master and Sabre-X of the Strategic War Division. Unfortunately, they could not join us today but will be at the battle. Go ahead Battle Faerie; we are all ready."

"Thank you, your Majesty. About the battle now, I have developed a strategy with Sabre-X and Grarrg to help us defeat this Sloth. Now, we remember Sloth the last time. He mutated many NeoPets. He has started it again. His army of mutant NeoPets is far greater than one could ever imagine. He has an entire army of Mavericks. Since he started the Tyrannian Invasion, he also has Korbat Scouts, Grarrl Troopers, Chia Bombers (not including the Space Faerie who is back in our custody), Grarrl Battlemasters, etcetera, etcetera. He even had around 30,000 Monoceraptors and fused them into one Megaceraptor!!! But they are not the main threat. Sloth himself can put up a possibly better fight than Her Majesty herself!!! (I hope no offense was taken, Your Majesty). He has built in devices inside of himself which give him superior power. His name is no longer Dr. Frank Sloth, but it is now Cyber Sloth because of all of his built in weapons!! Cyber Sloth is still gathering armies so we must attack before he has a chance..."

"My strategy now, you see, is here. Let me explain. Sloth plans on slowly mutating our army while attacking us at the same time. So, be careful. 'How can we use this to our advantage?' you must ask. Well Sloth uses his sweet time, WE WILL ATTACK WITH FULL FORCE!! But not anywhere that we'd like. First, we must defeat the easiest. The Mavericks, the Korbat Scouts, the Chia Bombers, the Grarrl Troopers, and some of the mutant NeoPets fall into that category. Beware, that whole category has many more soldiers than our small army of 10,000 (compared to Sloth, with 300,000 in that particular category). However, we have much more power with the Faeries. Hard is basically everyone else except Sloth. All of you except for the Uber Faeries, Grarrg, Sabre-X, myself, and Her Majesty must battle the easys and the hards but remember, first conquer the easys. The Uber Faeries, Grarrg, Sabre-X, myself, and Her Majesty will battle Sloth the whole time. Sloth is many times more powerful than his army. If you soldiers defeat the Easys and the Hards, you must help us. The weakest of you, retreat or you will be destroyed by Cyber Sloth. My next speech will be about the hardest part - Cyber Sloth."

"Cyber Sloth is extremely dangerous. I recommend great caution when dealing with him. He has eight powerful abilities. In reality, he has over 1,000,000,000 but many of them are quite weak and we won't need to worry about them. His main abilities are as follows:

8. Slug Fest (Sloth sends millions of parasites at you that suck your blood)

7. Darkness Spreader (Waves of darkness shoot out of Sloth's body)

6. Vicious Sting (Sloth's tail shoots out, stings you, and drains all of your energy making you unable to fight anymore)

5. Dark Star Shield (A shield of Darkness appears in front of Sloth that blocks ALL damage)

4. Black Ultranovas (A small cannon appears on Sloth's hand and he fires unlimited Black Ultranovas from it)

3. Ultimate Artillery (Sloth gets out most of his weapons and fires them all at once)

2. Hyper Cannon (Sloth gains a superior boost of energy; his hits become 100 times more powerful)

1. Unknown (For sure is EXCEEDINGLY powerful; the STRONGEST of Cyber Sloth's abilities)

His unknown ability is TOO powerful for us to handle. My fellow warriors, we must go prepared to our FULLEST or be prepared to be destroyed. We must work together and maybe, just maybe, we'll win. Thank you."

"Thank you, Battle Faerie. Now, as for equipment, the Hidden Tower has excellent Battle Magic. Everyone shall have at least 1 powerful weapon equipped by tomorrow noon. We will train for 1 week and then attack Sloth by surprise. We shall have the war on the ninth day of Hunting in the year 4. That day shall be known forever on after as 'Sloth Victory Day' if we win. Let us start to train now at Grundo's Gym. Everyone, follow me!!"

Everyone went as fast as possible to Grundo's Gym, where the trouble actually started.

"Look, the Grundo is on the floor!! He looks dead!!!"

"Not dead, he's morphing!!"

The Grundo morphed into an Evil Grundo!!! He ran at the Faerie Queen, but was frozen in place by the Snow Faerie!!

"Just trying to help..."

"Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!! I knew that you would come here unarmed!!! Faerie Queen!!! HAH!!! You don't deserve to govern Neopia!!! You couldn't even figure out that I would be here!!! YOU IDIOT!!!!"

"Sloth, my army is always prepared. Why, I wouldn't be that dull."

The Faerie Queen lifted her hand to empty out the Hidden Tower. All of the weapons flew to the battlefield and each soldier became fully equipped. Everyone even received a Rod of Supernova!!

"Grrr.... you still can't POSSIBLY win!!!"

"We shall see. Kiarra, go and fetch Sabre-X and Grarrg. Tell them to meet at Grundo's Gym since the battle has started."

"Yes, Your Majesty!"

"Enough talk!!! Go, armies of darkness, we MUST win!!!"

"Go, Neopian armies, and never give up!!!" The two armies clashed together, the strongest going for the hards and the weakest for the easys. The Uber Faeries were busily fighting Sloth, but were barely a match!!

"SLUG FEST!!!!"

"SCEPTER OF THE Faerie QUEEN!!!"

War cries were heard in every direction.

"Chapat-Ki, I'm over here!!!"

"Kiurrugi, watch out!!! Haiki-Lu, get over here now!!! Snowager, attack that Ancient Buzz!!! Sir Bold Heart, Hearn, there are 30 Chia Bombers!!!"

"Ghi Pharun, Ryshu, Ninga watch out for that Grarrl Battle Master!!!"

"Arachnoid, you're not going to let that BUZZ beat you, are you?"

"Let's go, Incredible Grarrl, Electro-Boy, and Wall, go for those 10 Buzzes!!!"

"Agent, Basher, Fireball, help me with these Battle Masters!!!"

"Tarchi, don't act stupid, this IS a battle!!!"

"Tomark, a Chia Bomber is attacking your brother!!!"

"Pittle, not here!!!"

"Yazrule, I need help with these Battle Masters!!!"

"Zualis, Flames, Scythe, get those 300 Evil Grundos!!!"

Within all of these cries, the most important ones were for Sloth. At this time. Sabre-X and Grarrg finally arrived and dashed for Sloth.

"Faeries, Do you actually believe that you can win? HYPER CANNON!!!"

"AAAHHHHH!!!!"

"Scepter of the Faerie Queen!!!"

"Aahh... Sabre-X... Grarrg..."

"TAKE THIS, SLOTH!!!" They both ran up and leaped onto Sloth. He fell back but then used a Vicious Sting to get them off.

"Grrr..."

"Light Faerie Oracle!!!"

"Water Faerie Jet Stream!!!"

"Battle Faerie Sword Slash!!!"

"Grarrg Ultimate Tackle!!!"

"Sabre-X Tusks Ram!!!"

"SCEPTER OF THE Faerie QUEEN!!!"

"AAHH!!! CURSE YOU!!! MAYBE I SHOULD TURN UP MY STRENGTH LEVEL!!! HUH?! WOULD THAT STOP YOU?? AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"WHAT?! SLOTH, IF ANYTHING YOU CAN'T BE STRONGER!!!"

"WELL IT'S TRUE SO TRY ME!!!"

"Scepter of the Faerie Queen!!!"

"Hyper Cannon!!!"

It was at this point that the Neopian Army defeated the hards. However, Sloth's attack went all the way and even hit the army!!!

All of the NeoPets- all 23,753,476 (remember, it's in the future), had joined the battle. That brought the total of soldiers to 23,764,389!!! However, ALL of the Dark Forces had also joined the battle bringing their total to 578,095,234!!!! It seemed completely useless. The Army was all tired except for the Faerie Queen. In succession, she was able to pop 80,000 in 1 hit!!! She was doing wonderfully but kept getting tired by ALL of the soldiers and Sloth's amazingly incredible force. She was able to destroy 354,058,934 soldiers of the army when she finally fell!!!

"N...nn....ooooooooo!!!!!!!!" It was a terrible sight for all. This gave many Neopians a higher motive. However, some felt grief and suddenly stopped. Neopia was weakening; Sloth was crushing the soldiers 1 by 1. ALL of them- just falling to their end was a sad picture. NeoPets of all breeds... just stood their. There were many tears of great sorrow, loved ones- just falling in turn. Indeed, no one could bare it. Sloth was the distinct winner.

But, it wasn't enough for Sloth. Many Neopians were still alive. He wanted them ALL dead. And that was why "it" happened...

Sloth was going from NeoPet to NeoPet, Faerie to Faerie, always stealing whatever energy that they had. It was quite sad...everything left them except for their minds- but was that enough?? Only one way to find out....

Suddenly, all of the fallen bodies started to glow!!! Sloth gawked in terror and fell back when he saw this. They all knew one thing in common- Sloth WOULD be defeated. The power of their minds had brought them ALL back to life- even the Faerie Queen!!! They were all counting on their wonderful queen to defeat Sloth. Their energies flew straight out of their bodies!!! They went to all of the Uber Faeries!!! One even brought the Space Faerie back to life!!! All of the energy even morphed her to an Uber Space Faerie!!! Everyone and everything submitted it's power to the Faerie Queen. The Queen grew an aura- an aura that blinded Sloth when he even glimpsed at it. The Faerie Queen no longer looked the same as before. She was in pure, white clothing, had golden locks of hair, and an awesome strength level. No longer the Faerie Queen, she was....

The Faerie Goddess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Sloth, you have done much damage to the beautiful planet of Neopia. In fact, it was too much damage. If you surrender and promise NEVER to attack again, I will let you live. Is that a deal?"

"NEVER!!! HOW CAN I MAKE A DEAL WITH A FIEND SUCH AS YOURSELF???"

"Very well. Sloth, I gave you the chance which you wasted." The Faerie Goddess lifted her hand in the air. Sloth's entire ARMY fell to the ground!!!

"Aaahh.... grrr.... Faerie, do you actually believe that you can stop me?? Well behold the ultimate attack that will stop EVERYONE from ever challenging Dr. Frank Sloth's power ever again!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Neopia, stay ready!!!!"

"APOCALYPSE ANNIHALATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"MIRACLE OF THE Faerie GODDESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Neopia, it's falling apart!!!! Help us!!!!"

"AAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!"

"NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The two attacks collided!!!!

The smoke cleared. Neopia no longer existed, it blew up in the impact. Sloth's body started to disintegrate!!!!

"Faerie....you may have won this time....but you only had a streak of luck.....next time it won't be the saaaaaaaaaammmmmmeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

As soon as Sloth expired, a diamond and a gold ingot was left behind. The Faerie Goddess used up all of her power to restore Neopia and changed back into the Faerie Queen. Sadly, she flew back to the new Hidden Tower. However, something strange happened at this moment. The gold and diamond followed her!!! She turned around and noticed hieroglyphs on them!!! They read 'To the monarch of Faeries, a present from the Gods...' She lifted them up and they started to glow radiantly!!! They both disappeared into her arms and she morphed back to the Faerie Goddess!!!!! She was destined to protect Neopia forever on after and rule over all in a most just manner. Her wisdom shall be known forever on after and the third day of Hunting would always be known as Faerie Goddess Day.
