User Lookup: teaspill

Nevermind the pretty things, I like being able to actually edit my user-lookup more.

Hi. My name's Mel, or Melinda if you're actually trying to talk to me for the first time. Teaspill works too. Really. I like distance and formality. I am a recluse/lurker, though I like to help when I can and how I can. I have a lot of ideas, and a lot of them don't appeal to most people. Most likely, this applies to you as well.

I am obsessed with tea, vampires, Victoriana, and lots of things you don't care about. Don't worry, I'm not claiming I have taste. For instance: The Manic Street Preachers pwned my soul in 1999, and I haven't gotten it back yet. Also: The Elder Scrolls rocks my socks. No, really. I grew up playing Daggerfall, mod Morrowind compulsively, and uh... my computer's still not good enough for Oblivion. XD It also has a dying hard-drive (BSOD at least twice a week, with difficulty upon restart), which means I'm trying not to push it too hard until we can afford to replace it. That means I'm avoiding real gaming and KQ. :'(

I turn 25 this month, and have a toddler who is very keen on the whole getting-into-trouble bit. Don't expect me to be at the keyboard... ever. I'm a stay-at-home mom though, so it'll look like I'm always here. Always. It's creepy.

Lately I've been spending all of my neopoints on customization items. Not smart. Then again, what is?

On Neo: If I can do something with my ancient computer and slow 'net connection, I probably do. At least a little. And sometimes a lot. Mostly though, I just like my pets. And the Neopian Times. I really like the Neopian Times. More than you, I dare say.

I have sides. One. Two. Three. I also have a former main, but I don't like to talk about that.

I have one neofriend who plays consistently and isn't me, and I live with him. You're not likely to be added to that list without good reason. Just sayin'.
