Hi! My name is Alana, and I've been playing Neopets for years. A few things you ought to know about the Neopets me: I'm a loyal Faerielander when Altador Cup time comes around, I'm preoccupied with buying stuff for my pets and building up my gallery, and I'm a content writer for the wonderful JN. As for me outside of Neopia, I won't tell you much about the mundane me, other than that I'm an academic and a fan of classical and Broadway-style music.

Here's what I'll tell you more about: the SCAdian me! I take the name on my profile from two places: the first name from my SCA nickname (for Arsalan), the last name from the last name of the husband of the person I originally named myself after, when I still had an English persona--Alanna of Trebond. I've been part of the SCA for about two years now. I'm authorized as a heavy weapons fighter and fencer, and I dabble in archery, thrown weapons, and several arts & sciences activities. I'm also proud to say I'm squired to one of the best knights in the kingdom! (I'd argue the best, of course, but I suppose I'm biased. ;) )
