I like cats and dogs a lot, I've heavily read both Science Fiction/Fantasy books since Age 10 (Older Brother for long past birthday bought me J. R. R. Tolkien's Hobbit/Lord of the Rings 4 book set. I liked them so well I finished all 4 of them in 3 days [whoosh!]). I have a Paperback Science Fiction/Fantasy Book Collection of over 1,400 volumes. I have far too much time available and invest nearly all of it in Neopia, where I mostly just slog along and putter around here/there; nothing too much serious, mostly - 'least not yet, anyway! *lol* In Neopia I occasionally plunge into a stretch of Whimsy, sometimes surprising myself as well as NeoFriends - but always in a good way. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I belong to a 'Chat' Guild - Friendship~Garden - to which I was introduced by one of my best friends in Neopia; or elsewhere, for that matter (if you are interested in joining, NeoMail me for information, and maybe an Invite). There are quite a good number of really Fun activities, and it has a really Great collection of some really Nice people. It started as great fun, it remains great fun, and I am convinced that it will Always BE - Great Fun! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I now have all 5 allowable Accounts. Gandalf58 is my Main Account, contains my Lab Map Sets, and except for (currently) Aragorn_VII , the other 3 pets there are the first ones I created in Neopia. The Wocky there, _Bubbles95_ , whom I painted Cloud (thanks to a Lucky try on the Neopets Fruit Machine! :D ) was modeled after my 14 1/2 Year Old Money Cat, Bubbles (who passed away July 1, 2010). My other Accounts are Bookman2009 , which is all Limited Edition Pets I have created; _enterprise_ncc1701 is all Lab Ray Pets I have 'Zapped'; Sunset_View is all Pets that I have Adopted (2 from my Son's Wife, 1 from one of my Guild Member Friends, and a final one I Adopted from the Neopian Pound. :D ) My final account is land_of_xanth, currently with only 1 Limited Edition Pet - but an AWESOME Gallery! (as have sunset_view and _enterprise_ncc1701) ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ There's a short story behind the naming of (currently) 2 of my pets. A few years ago I was somewhat into Gaming, and along with the Gandalf Character (my favorite in J. R. R. Tolkien's Hobbit / Lord of the Rings Books) I also very much liked Aragorn. So when I made characters for gaming, I created a Fighter/Swordsman whom I named Aragorn. The guy running the gaming for whatever reasons several times 'created' a 'situation' - "Rocks Fall and Everybody Dies" (the gaming charachters) - so after the first Aragorn was 'permanently killed off' I created my next character, Aragorn II. Then Aragorn III. And finally, Aragorn IV. By the time of the 3rd 'Aragorn' I noticed a slight trend, of somewhat more and slightly worse events happening to my "Aragorn's". After #4 I picked a new name there. But for 2 of my now 3 Lab Ray Pets, starting with the first such, since the Pet Laboratory Ray causes such Dramatic and Extensive changes (or can, once in a while) it seemed both fitting and appropriate to continue the 'Hard Luck Traditions' of my previous 4 "Aragorn's". My first such Lab Ray Pet was Aragorn_V , the second was a mistakenly created pet, Jonquathar , then came Aragorn_VI while my current Lab Ray Pet is Aragorn_VII. I quite possibly eventually will ReZap most all my Lab Pets - 'Least until I get some fantastic result! _______________________________________________________________________________
