Hello all, and welcome to my profile! I am a returning Neopets player. I have always been a bit of a collector – so you will find me collecting many things as I progress into Neopets again. Currently, I'm collecting trophies for my trophy case (below!) and I have a few tips/comments for any other trophy-hogs out there! Step 1: Be unemployed! I am looking for work where I live but while I'm not at interviews or sending our resumes, I'm playing Neopets! Lots of trophies are not so much difficult as they are time-consuming! The ones I am gathering first are obviously the "no real skill required" trophies! Anyone can play card games and cumulate a score/number of clears large enough to earn a trophy! Step 2: Pick your games! I don't pick the toughest games, I pick the most fun ones! I love simple games like Zurroball, Kiko Match, and the Buzzer Game, and puzzle games (all the card games!) so those are the trophies I tend to aim for! Step 3: Formulate a strategy! For card games, just play daily until you reach the neopoint gain limit. For luck games, play until your pet gets bored. For skill games, strategy will vary obviously, but there are some guides out there that can give hints, tips, or even a walk-through of puzzle games! One example is I use my laptop when playing Zurroball each day, and I use the energy ball. The energy ball bounces are somewhat limited in the momentum they will gain, and if you can line up your mouse well, you can just stay underneath the energy ball and bounce it upwards with proper timing of clicks, with very little movement involved if you can keep your timing proper! My current trophy goals: Gormball - A game of luck, but a great source of low-np items! Meerca Chase II (any) - Need to get lucky and get a bunch of fish/super neggs in one run! Invasion of Meridell medal – Mission 5 Battle 3... apparently not available anymore. Double or Nothing – all about luck of course! Splat-a-sloth: I just need to get lucky timing ONE time! My final recommendation to any other trophy hunters out there: Research trophies, and how to get them, go for the easier ones first, and have patience - a LOT of the trophies I have are based somewhat on luck, so keep that in mind when you're grinding away at a specific trophy! By the way, feel free to neomail me regarding any of my trophies and I would be glad to provide any tips I have! Woo, finally got the Pyramids gold trophy, after literally thousands of games! I think I probably spent about 50hours on that card game!
