On Saturday, October 4th Neopets invaded the Toys R Us shop at Times Square in New York to
promote the new voice activated plushies and our trading card game.
When the Neopets team arrived there was already a long line of people waiting, even though the
shop wasn't due to open for another half an hour.
There was a HUGE sign outside right on Times Square that told everyone passing by all about us. Inside the
shop there was also an MC reminding people to come and see us.
We were right near the entrance to the shop and Toys R Us hung up these huge signs all around the shop
so we were pretty hard to miss :)
Doesn't that look cool!!! Every person working at Toys R Us wore a Neopets T-shirt and even the pillars
were covered in Neopets posters.
Tons of people queued up to meet Anthony, Keith and Dave who were signing virtual prize code cards and
drawing on the back of them. As if that wasn't enough everybody was then given one of our new trading cards
from the guys at Wizards of the Coast.
Thanks to everyone who came to support us. The day was a huge success and Toys R Us totally sold out
of our TCG cards! It was great to see so many people and we hope to do more
events like this soon.
